👍👏👏👏I only started playing in December of last year and when I got to trains, I was planning something similar, I even made several similar branches of railways with tunnels, but this is all stopped by the inability to quickly and accurately lay the foundation in different rises and turns.. It takes a lot of time. for such things. Why didn't the developers take care of this?

Wow that's incredible! I've just started playing this game and find myself stuck in an endless cycle of stocking bio fuel, then I see this and what is possible... It leaves me speechless. Maybe I'll start again and save the trees next time 😂

@@Rxckxt I turns out it's not possible, people make huge BP's using a mod for larger BP's area. There is this mod with a 200X200 area

As I am a foamer, seeing the 100% (45°) inclines and clipping hurts my soul just a little bit, in my current playtrough I'm constraining myself to only make somewhat realistic rail infrastructure (that is with suports and bridges that are ochiometrically valid, keeping the rails as close to the ground as possible, only using 1m ramps, no clipping other than foundations and rail merging and crossing). Would be fun to see what someone with much more time to dedicate to this game could do with "realism" constraints. Still, a big like from me!

Signals are easy. Put on the right side of the direction of travel and only 1 train can be on each section of track.

@@jamesbrowder2960 still works my dude. Make it slightly wider is you are on a server. If on your own pc make sure itis perfectly lined up when you place the first straight piece

@@Rxckxt I stand corrected. Not sure what I did differently, but I got it to work. Also was able to reproduce in MK II blueprint. Definitely had to fiddle around with it since it's such a tight squeeze, but it does work!

@jamesbrowder2960 i dont reccomend build the track for it in the bp designer because if you lay it down in a bp the trans have wierd issues. Eg thwy do a full loop of the rb before turning both left AND right. To get around this you will need to re-lay just the bp rail circle bit. Im glad you got it working my dude!

Yikes! I’ll just have to test things out and learn as I go as this makes little sense. With all the trains and rails you also have hundreds of these signals, way more than I would think necessary. I get the rail block idea and that it means if a train is on that next section of rail another train can’t enter, but that’s all I get.
