I usually start my factories on the ground and build upwards because I like buildings. First time in 1.0 i built a factory off the top of a cliff and expanded downward along it. Its glorious and so convenient. Probably my best start tbh.

I have a plethora of saves, some with over 80 running trains, and not a single train loop compares in quality to even 10 lengths of your track. I cant wait to really dedicate the time into a single save to go to the lengths even close to what you have done to achieve this vs my previous sporatic idea testing and save switching any time I thought of something new.

Congratz dude, what an absolute breathtaking ride! Nice to see someone else enjoys driving the train through the world! I had to smile at the passages where you instinctively duck your head because of the low ceiling. I might have played a bit too much exploring and spelunking, because I instantly new where on the map your tracks were. :-) On my almost 1000 hour savegame (which I have a small video of on my own channel), my tracks around the world are crooked, weird and janky - because I built almost everything when "zooping" and flying wasn't in the game yet. But painstakingly building every single piece of foundation one by one was a very zen thing to do. And I somehow just can't give up on my one big savegame, it kinda feels like home. Now maybe I give at least the railway signals a chance. Cheers!
