Using a Harley Raking to Install New Lawns

Here I restore and improve an existing lawn space for a client. The existing sod and base materials were decent enough to till with a harley rake, along with integrating some new soil, made for a great final product!
Equipment Used:
Skid Steer/CTL: 2021 Bobcat T66
Harley Rake: Bobcat 6' Soil Conditioner
Excavator: 2021 Bobcat E26 R-Series
Grapple: CMP HG5
Tilt: Bobcat Power Tilt

I love the way a yard looks after a Harley rake has been on it, I’ve never rented a bobcat track loader but this fall I am going to redo my whole back lawn with one I’ve watched so many KZbin videos on them I think I’m now a pro 😂

You can also use the soil conditioner to level the new topsoil for a perfectly level ground and little to no raking

Assuming the old lawn roots go down deeper than the blades scarfed up by the Harley rake, does that mean the old grass comes back up and mingles with the newly planted seed? Lusher lawn?

I still work full time as a Software Engineer and do this work on the side. Though at this point it has realistically been another full time job. To get started, all it really takes is the motivation, desire to do the work and the basic tools to do the job! As long as you are well presented, spoken, show up and have a good work ethic, you will be lining up lots of jobs.
