This is not german: Crepe, Schaschlik, Burger, ...only Bratwurst and Schweinshaxe are german. But when you eat german original food you become bierbauch and lazy. It is far too heavy and the stomach can not handle it.

I spent 3 years in Wildflecken Germany in the 70s the street food was so good i make it today, absolutely best food ever, even the tater salad

This may not be the best ramen in the world but seeing as Japanese fish markets open really early, it's cold, and you're still tired as hell. I'd rather have a hearty bowl of warm ramen just a walk away than going to a hugh end ramen shop.

That stuff looks really good. Trouble is, that kind of food, in general - not just German street food, but *all* high-fat foods - any more, it’s likely to make me *really* sick.

I only now realize how good we have it here in Germany compared to other countries. Many people think American school food is disgusting, meanwhile here in Germany. School lunch consists of Bratwurst with Kartofflebrei or Currywurst With Pommes or maybe even a decent Hamburger With Fries and nuggets. And the desserts can range from anything of stuff like strawberries and a bannana or some chocolate to crepes filled with Nutella with a siding of icecream. Sorry for my bad English
