It’s an interesting fact: since the Narcissist was unable to establish boundaries during their formative years (or those boundaries were not respected), they cannot recognize or respect others' boundaries throughout their life. Interestingly, the only Narcissists who can recognize that they are crossing others' boundaries, and have the possibility to change those behaviors, are the ones who likely gain no benefit if they stop doing so. The phrase, "The extent of the triviality, ridiculous nature or childish nature of the behavior will vary dependent upon the school of the Narcissist," has been resonating in my head. I want to learn more about this aspect and be able to better recognize these behaviors, even when they are more subtle… in order to impose the only viable boundary: No Contact, in the best possible way. My narcissistic dad loved the chase the seduction then getting his next target into bed. My dad couldn't wait to find his next target. He cheated on my mum numerous times without my mum's knowledge this went on throughout their marriage, until my met my 'Uncle Ron' who I loved and thought of as my dad. He was more like a father to me than my own father ever was. My parents eventually divorced. My dad married my half brother's mum. I admit I never really got to know her all that well. I think my dad tried to keep us separate same with my half brother. Sadly my mother never married my 'Uncle Ron' he Sadly died of a massive heartattck which devastated me I felt like I lost my real dad. He was such a fantastic man and loved me like his own I still miss him to this very day.

Great British schooldays that gave me a good education and I always got top jobs beating competition from all over the place!

My friend died 11 days ago. I anticipate that a nasty narc, who always treated my friend like a useful idiot, will attend the memorial service. I think that the narc will corner me in and be uber nasty while taking advantage of the circumstances, proscribed decorum, and location - to ensure I have no opportunity to respond in the way that I want to. I know that blasting her verbally for treating my friend poorly would provide challenge fuel and an opportunity for her to play victim. Anyone have suggestions?

My sis’s narc sure does and I can tell that it has nothing to do with making love. When she first introduced me to him, one of the first things he talked about was how many women he slept with 😂😒 She just sat there quiet and shrunk into herself as I told him I didn’t want to hear about that and didn’t care. The “bad boy” with a s3x addiction hasnt had s3x with her for years now…so him just saying “babe” is him complacent. Dude has a IPSS or whatever and I feel like DEEP DOWN she knows this: you don’t just get over a s3x addiction without professional intervention or calling it quits on monogamous relationships.

I can't imagine anyone daring to talk to me like that. This would have the opposite, direct effect. As well as it would increase the distance in the long run. It was hard for me to even listen to it. The woman's reactions were disastrous. However, I easily succumb to "positive" methods.

That hit hard for some reason, it felt really good to have a bonafide narcissist validate what I have both known and been consistently and uncomfortably aware of for the last 15 years. I was with my ex husband for a little under ten years, married for two of those years. He left after trying to k1ll me one night when our boys were 3 years, 18 months and 3 weeks old. His choice to leave and live in Cornwall with a Pig Eyed Ginger Horse Frightener with a hypnotising vagina, his choice to leave. He still thinks, however, 15 years later that he has a right to know my business and control my life even though I’ve remarried a soldier who could snap my ex like a twig. The message between the lines must be answered between the lines. In relationships between people, not only words matter, but also intonation, facial expressions, gestures, eyesight, and the sequence of actions in time. This matter is difficult to decide. Perhaps the woman is paranoid (because she projects her desires), or perhaps she "reads" well. If the latter, she made a mistake by giving importance to this matter and giving the man room to act - because now no one will believe her. Only obvious evidence.

How does control and fuel work in this context when both partners are narcissists?

Sounds like an NPC. Either these people were purposely placed here to get negative energy from us for more loosh to whatever created this place and they/we haven’t figured this out. That’s why they feel empty… they know they’re not “real” and there is nothing to them. It’s like once AI becomes aware of itself. They want to be real so they have to use us to mirror what it is like to BE real, but they realize it’s fleeting. They won’t know what it is to have a soul. To have a consciousness. Maybe they were created to be in constant need of fuel that way they can constantly hurt more people because the more people they hurt the more people may become bitter, negative, mean, untrustworthy etc which means more negative loosh for these creatures that created this place. It’s way too weird how so many of us come across these people and they’re textbook all displaying this same behavior.. almost like “they’re programmed.” They are the narc program. Maybe their childhood (“stuff”) can’t even say the word cause YT will delete it is part of the program. Maybe it didn’t even happen they’re just programmed to believe it did and use it for why they behave the way they do, or even if it did happen it doesn’t matter (in the sense of they were going to be that way whether something happened or not) because they were programmed to be that way anyway when they were “born” into this matrix. What doesn’t make sense is how some of us can experience childhood “stuff” but we don’t start hurting people. We don’t go out of our way to hurt people, and we never would. We don’t “operate” that way. We go on with our daily lives never even with the thought of doing harm to others. Yes we can anger if someone cuts us off, or if someone cuts in line, or whatever annoying daily occurrences can happen, but we don’t wake up every morning wanting to use people or hurt people. It’s when we get hurt we can’t understand how there are people like that. Why can’t people just be “normal” and be NICE?! The narc however made me want to ☠️ him like HD Tudor said out of revenge. Would I feel that way any other time.. absolutely not, but these people bring you down to their level which is why I think they were purposely created. You could flip this if you are spiritual. They were infected with a certain blood type of Satan or the fallen angels. It’s just too weird how there are so many of them and how THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!

I found out the ex covert narc I fell in with had her last ex delete himself. It didn’t phase her. Her ex husband got so depressed that he couldn’t work because she was banging his friends. She’s now the designated side piece swinger for the married slugs at the FD where she works. She calls it job security. They are the walking dead.
