Remember, Pokeballs can shrink from baseball-sized sphears to little marble-sized spheaes that we'll call "Travel Mode", and the world of Pokemon has made clothes and accessories that can hold Pokeballs while theyre in travel mode, like Ash's belt. In the anime, they have necklaces, bracelets and gloves that the Pokeballs can hook into, so swimmers can just wear one of these and have a full party on them out at sea with minimal clothing. In regards to the Sun and Moon trainer not shown wearing gloves or bracelets, lets say she's wearing an ankle or thigh bracelet, since she's drawn from the waist up, or maybe its a hair accessory not shown in that shot. Problem solved!!!

I never played this game as a kid, and I played it for the first time on my switch with the n64 online thing, and it made me feel a bit anxious because it was so empty, and reminiscent of liminal spaces. I think the old graphics help that too. it was still fun but kind of unsettling in some parts, I think its more scary for someone like me who doesnt have childhood memories of it to be fond of. I'm used to the worlds feeling way more alive and full- think odyssey. so stripping all that back leaves it feeling empty. still a great game though and i thoroughly enjoyed it, it was just in the back of my mind for some parts. i truly do think people find it scary because its old. its perfect for the realm of analog horror, 90s found footage, corrupted haunted arcade cabinet kind of vibe. we make old aesthetics into horror all the time- its giving backrooms mixed with petscop
