Fun fact: a big point of the elementary school level in the first postal was supposed to be the fact that it was such a horrible concept and so out of left field that its something that could never happen in the modern world, hence why your bullets have no effect. The modern redux version of the game however, changes this last level for obvious reasons.

I love how when a crime happens, fingers are immediately pointed at video games but never at the mental health of the individual who committed the crime & who happened to play those games. I myself have played all kinds of violent video games from Postal, GTA to Mortal Kombat, yet i never went on a killing spree. Their games are also famous for the bizarrely in-depth character creation. For some reason these porn games have better customization than 99% of normal games

I've been meaning to buy Koikatsu some day, genuinely a one of the best pieces of character creation and simulation software, it's just so ridiculously expensive and you still need to Mos the game to uncensor it. They are the TripleA of Eroge alongside Alicesoft though I suppose.

I feel like there is a really big difference between Postal and Hatred. While the goal of both games were killing people, Postal never asked the player to kill civilians. The sequel had this marketing tagline that says ‘the game is only as violent as you are’ and to some degree it still applies here. Hatred on the other basically specifically tasked you to kill civilian, hostility such as police and military served as the challenge, something that get in your way of your mindless killing spree of the innocents.

First of all, I can't believe I'm among your first 3,000 subs, because I expect exponential growth with this video quality. Your videos are so good, especially the video editing. Also, the real laughing in the voiceovers is my favourite, adds so much character to your videos. But second, what were the issues with Cyberpunk 2077? All that's mentioned in the video was that there was bunch of hype, refunds, and then eventual improvement. I had no idea what the controversy actually was and had to stop the video to read an article about it. Try not to assume that the viewer already knows about the content, since they're watching to find out about it. Tell the whole story for each segment. But also, the video chapters were great so I could find my place in the video again after reading that article. Love to see that attention to detail.

Manhunt was only banned here in Australia after the teen murder in the UK was blamed on this game. The game was originally released completely uncensored with an MA15+ rating. Yes 15 year Olds were legally allowed to buy and play it. The game was also banned in New Zealand. Also Japan and Germany are far more harsh when it comes to censorship in video games. Even with their highest rating gory stuff like internal organs are not allowed in video games in Japan.

If you can (and are interested / havent already) i would heavily reccomend you look into Postal Redux and specifically the War Journal entries from that game. Its essentially the developers taking another shot at making Postal 1 again with more polish, and on the harder difficulities, the game actually includes the original journal entries by the Dude from the game's manual. Theyre less of the more edgy tone i feel the base game loading screens have and more a despaired, somewhat hopeful but ultimately incredibly misled battle between the dude and the percieved pollution thats turning everyone but him insane. Again, if you are interested i would greatly reccomeded it, it goes on sale fairly often for only around a dollar and a little extra with tax on steam (as well as being available on switch and the ps4) and even if you dont play it, you can still find the journals online. (Also apologies if this came off a little unhinged, im just very fascianted by the whole franchise and wanted to share that with you if you didnt already know! Thank you for your time!)

Ok so the thing about Postal 1 original ending; It was definitely an ending for shock, but it also shows the one thing RWS will never do; Kill kids. Basically, Postal 1 Dude is insane. The entire game is in his head while he's in an Asylum.The game was/ is just meant to be an outlet, it's not meant to inspire people to do stuff in a video game or anything. Then Postal 1 got a Redux. And fun fact; The ending was changed. Not because of the offensiveness, no. But because children being killed isn't shocking anymore. How fucked is that? The new ending shows Postal 1 dude arriving at a funeral, and once the casket lowers, he collapses. Presumably, it's his own funeral, and this time, he's not just in an asylum; He's in Hell. There's apparently two different kinds of notes/loading screens as well, depending on the difficulty? I'm not sure. One set is the insane ramblings, the other set seem to be what he actually thinks is happening. Sorry for rambling about this. It just kinda irked me to see you compare Postal 1 to Hatred, when Hatred honestly isn't as good or fun as Postal 1.

that EC game was distributed in germany by a music band (it was a hidden part of the cd files) officially not sold directly but distributed that way its a long time ago and i cant remember the bands name (it was nothing popular and probably censored on YT anyway) the second game was gifted on music events but both are of low quality Both are technically super rare and they featured a (maybe accidental) comedic tone similar to mel brooks comedys (and they ripped some voice lines from his movies too especially the history of the world)

I got Cyberpunk 2077 just before the anime hype blow the games sales up again and honestly? I love it. It's definitely still not fully bug free obviously, but it really came far. After over 180 hours of playing it I fell through the world twice, had an enemy clip through a wall, had my cyberware bugged out after a main mission and very minor things like being unable to pick up items from enemies bc their bodies cliped a bit into the ground. Sounds worse than it was, really none of these ruined the fun aspect of the game. But they honestly should've had the game like this from the start

i hate the whole "video games cause violence" shit. half the time, people who commit serious crimes actually didn't play video games... like, oh i don't know, Albert Fish, John Wayne Gacey, Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, Ed Gein, Harold Shipman, H.H. Holmes, Pedro Lopez, Andrew Cunanan, Jack The Ripper, Sam Little, David Berkowitz, Dennis Rader, Richard Ramierez, i could keep going, but i don't wanna make this comment too long. yes, it's not like they were mentally ill and had serious problems, it must've been those gosh darn video games... even though video games weren't a thing when a good chunk of these serial killers were around. i just wanna see a serial killer be caught with Animal Crossing and Mario Kartz, and see people try to blame those games for the murders. video games and vulgar music aren't gonna make you violent, this isn't the 80's anymore, if someone plays violent video games and listens to metal music, and they go on to kill someone, it wasn't the games and music that made them do it, they were already likely gonna do it anyway.
