Quite a lengthy, wordless beginning. Silly, really, how cheating begets cheating for this side quest. Assuming save scumming/timelooping is a form of cheating, of course. Considering Schells never came back in some degree in the next two games, guess he never did put his talents to good use.

It really is fascinating how people will have the problems with a rich elite cabal controlling everything slapped into their face with the subtly of a brick thrown through a window at mach 5, and then turn around and say "the problem is how big the government is, bureaucrats am I right?" as if the problem with a narcissistic billionaire with a god complex is that he just doesn't understand what issues people are facing in New Jersey and France.

Remember that Joshua wasn't just burned, he was soaked in pitch before being lit on fire. For those of you not quite familiar, pitch is a very old and crude form of tar. It dates back to medieval times irl. It's sticky, oily, and when lit aflame it burns fairly hot compared to other materials. Think of the tax collectors pre American Revolution who got tarred and featgered and you get an idea of pitch. Minus being lit on fire. Also consider that Joshua traveled from the depths of the GRAND CANYON all the way to Ogden, Utah, with what amounts to his entire body covered in 3rd degree burns. He can't use chems because, simply put, his skin/dermis is so fucked up that the blood vessels can't carry the medicine where it needs to go. It's nothing but scar tissue.

RE vibroblades: this is the same setting that goes out of its way to make lightsabers less cool by giving Mandelorians countless tools to kill Jedi. There's literally a glove that can catch a lightsaber blade. And you're surprised that someone managed to make swords practical?

Rebels are terrorists until they achieved their goal. Funny thing is how both Andor and KotOR 2 are written by non-fans and managed to be two of the best written Star Wars ever while time and time again shows and games made by fans of the franchise would at best be great and at worst became one of the worst thing that ever existed for an entertainment content.

Would honestly prefer "isekai'ing" Star Wars ideas and concepts in other works as a whole, especially if it's also lore consistent with the fallout of the World Between Worlds, the Legacy comics era hyping up what may be an era of great galactic change never before seen, and even non-SW moments like whatever's happening with the Multiverse at large with threats like Bill Cipher, Evil Morty, the Spot, and so on and on and on. Picture this: imagine a New Jedi Order Knight prodigy (and potential "transfer student" for the Imperial Knights) original character in both Kyle Katarn-esque lightsaber and Muggle combat, KotOR-style diplomacy, and vehicular piloting a la the classic Battlefront games and TIE Fighter (they may even have a personal TIE Defender, which should at least be obsolete in the Legacy era in which they live, but they're more comfortable at it so that isn't too much of an issue), who just had to be covertly recruited for an interdimensional defense force as a means to not imbalance their own home universe after a fake death scenario (basically, they're another Starkiller in terms of some power levels, not that they should mind vanishing from their universe since it's gotten trite for them; oh, and said disappearance may be quite a reference to the Megaroad's from the Macross franchise). What should follow is them learning the curves of said new life path, starting the creation of their own magical military peacekeeper organization lovingly based on the NJO and Rogue+Wraith Squadrons, which will then be followed up on with their magnum opus of an undercover operation... perhaps they'll become chief librarian to one Gravesfield Library, complete with amicably befriending and protecting a witch couple by the name of the Blight-Nocedas, with perhaps the potential to train, hmm their strangely and subtly godlike daughter...

Lowly they may be, at least that guy was a true A.I., alongside the later EDI (who was also that moon A.I. who cried help, just reconstructed by Cerberus). Same goes for other fictional A.I.s like Red vs. Blue's Epsilon and Delta, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song's titular character+Matsumoto and other folk like Estella and Elizabeth, Bungie Halo's Cortana and Serina, and Portal's GLaDOS and Wheatley. Instead, what we're getting are true V.I.s in all but name. Shallow pieces of work.

Weird seeing some dated Star Wars games here, by the way, like Force Commander. Well, apart from Super Star Wars... that game's hard, but in a good Mega Man Classic way. Anyways, in my opinion, Star Wars is better off as a more passive Multiversal inspiration instead. Having, say, "borrowed" Zaarin-design TIE Defenders being used for an interdimensional defense force either protecting or pinning down worlds like Amphibia and the Boiling Isles would be far more original and interesting whilst tickling the right nostalgia feels. Oh, and what about Kyle Katarn-esque Jedi commandoes working undercover even as dagashi store owners in some anime worlds and maybe even be Gravity Falls' Tad Strange after all this time?

This would explain why they keep overlooking or retconning successes in comics, limiting novels, and why they're reluctant to ever branch out. Also everything happening to the live action tv series. Even the High Republic novels and comics felt as if they were being undermined by surrounding decisions. I get the fandom response will often be a shitshow, especially now, but this mindset would fit in with why the franchise seems to be in a tailspin. It will only lead to stagnation.

This is one of the best written characters in the entirety of Star Wars, maybe media as such so far. The likes of characters such as Rey or Osha are insults to the Star Wars franchise. It deserves so much better, and the fact that we are still discussing Kotor 2 after over twenty years since its release is testament to what it could be.

I have never watched or played anything to do with Star Wars, but this is great! I like that this series can carry into lots of different genres. The only thing it can’t do is be rated 1% on Rotten Tomatoes. If that ever happens, THEN Star Wars can do anything.

It’s a good idea to expand into different genres, but I can already tell a lot of fans wouldn’t like that, and you’d have the people like Star Wars Theory voicing their dislikings (eg. The big fuss over Andor not being star wars because it doesn’t have lightsabers or big battles). I personally would like this change, and I would want to see some more anthology series (stories with no impact on the main timeline, like the Mandalorian, Rebels, etc.), without Disney being money hungry and trying to build a whole other franchise off of it (which we all know is too much of an urge to resist for Disney) I’ll been waiting for the day that they do a horror film or show about Project: Black Wing from the comics. A 6 episode or 1.4 hour movie would suffice. Something that expands into a different genre, whilst also keeping in theme with the sci fi setting.
