Which friendly country is enabling the Scratch Fleet placement for the Western Allies? Malaya is not a 'country'. I thought normally the scratch defense would only be able to be used for India, Australia, or the NEI.

Towards the end there the Japanese should not have lost their CV fleet marker. The phasing faction loses a marker on a Raiders Discovered result. So the British/Western Allies should have lost their Air unit. Maybe this is corrected in the next video.

You cannot make a vassal with subjugate only with a Royal Marriage. Also some focus action, you moved the cubes to the wrong place. It is a complicated set of rules.

Not sure how closely you have followed SC development over the last five years, but the game seems to have really turned a corner. Long promised tech is being completed and it finally feels like its on the precipice of an avalanche of content. I feel like its really worth a look and seeing if your interest is spiked again. I'm sure i speak for a lot of people when I say this podcast used to be my favorite way to digest the content Its about damn time it was resurrected.

9 months late, but on one of your earlier trades you could have actually used a secondary black sea (bottom of the tea card), which you then would have had the highest value for (16 ducats instead of 2). Meaning you would have had way more money, had the milestone a turn before the war happened and the entire thing would have gone extremely different

Hi Bridger! Don't know if you remember me at all, but we met at the November 2022 Compass Expo and played Cataclysm and Here I Stand. Anyway, enjoying this video thoroughly. Watched the first hour to get an idea, then went through the flipbook to play my first turn in Mr. President at Easier level and now am reviewing this video. I think at the 1:00:00 mark, when you were resolving the Russian action to militarize the Arctic, you added two tensions to Russia but forgot to add two tensions to Canada, UK, and NATO.

At 20:07 you can hear him clicking with the key button in order to change from one light blue attacking arrow to another. What hotkey was he using?

Excellent work! I watched your entire play through of Cataclysm to help learn the game and you made everything really easy to understand, specifically the “why” of actions to help explain the rules via thematic narrative. I ended up playing that like 5 times last winter because of your vids. I’m close to pulling the trigger on this game too. Just deciding whether to buy a copy now or wait for the 2nd edition.

Is there a part 2 for this empire? I looked here on youtube and couldn't find it. The civ 4 BTS expansion with Rise of mankind a new dawn mod is pretty decent.

So Andy Lewis - when you draw a Andy lewis you have to stick with the version you first draw, the other token is removed from the game. So in your case, you got the bad andy (based on it being the top token in your draw) so you would have got to draw one additional token and chosen from those 3. Games hard enough tho so having a good CoS isn't a bad thing.
