Both are equally good, K11 R2R is smaller phyusically, might be a touch more resolute and more punchy, C200 is laid back and mid centric

They should work well wit Caspian M2. I do not have the vlumio to say for sure

Hiii, EQ is very personal and depends on the headphones, so there is no basic rule that will work for all, depends a lot on the headphones / IEMs you're using

From that list, D16 would be my top pick. Around this price point, a second hand DX320 MAX Ti might be an excellent choice too. D16 would be my favorite option overall. Or Dethonray listening M1 if you can get it a better psu

FiiO K9 AKM will be more neutral, but more detailed. Depends on whether you want more detail or higher dynamics, DO400 is more dynamic and engaging, K9 has higher resolution and is more linear. There is no clear winner, when there is such a high difference in character

@@AudiophileHeaven What do you mean about more detailed? I've heard that those AKM chips are smoother than ESS's. And I've seen people saying they don't like the THX headphone amps that much. What do you think about that?

THX amps sound quite linar, not a lot of dynamic range, very flat. The AK chip is not significantly smoother, dont' focus too much on the chip producer, all that really matters is the sonic tuning of the chip

For example, I think that the build quality of the FiiO gears I've seen are much better than the SMSL gears I've seen, even the circuitry. @@AudiophileHeaven Cheers for the reply....forgot to mention, I'm using the 48v 5A power supply from the ZA3...could be the reason why it sounds so good. Also, being a cable maker, I only bought the ZA3 because of the XLR inputs...my previous Proceed BPA-3 power amp smoked when I switch it on and forgot to remove the piece of cloth I use to cover it as dust protection...so not having any power amp to test my XLR cables made me decide to try the ZA3 monos and the sound is ok but the TB10D absolutely blew me away.

@@AudiophileHeaven I own this DAC and using it with a Wiim puck streamer and directly goes to my Mark Levinson power amp bypassing a separate preamp. It’s been 5 years and I am thinking of upgrading. I’m keeping the Mark Levinson power amp but would like to get a newer streamer/dac/preamp. Been debating solutions from Eversolo and Lumin.

It is pretty similar, but Q15 has more driving power and a better resolution / sonic perfromance, and a larger size. I will cover BTR17 very soon!

@AudiophileHeaven so the btr lineup vs q15.. In terms of purpose.. They are about the same? And does fiio follow numeric value in their modeling? Like btr5 is lower than 7? And is 17 just a new Gen and successor of the btr7? Man I have to do some research. I'm liking the q15 due to the desktop mode

yes, they follow the numbers, btr 7 is below btr 5 and 17 ius the successor of the btr7. Q15 is a hybrid desktop DAC AMP, has more power, better sound, but it is a bluetooth reeiver, it is much larger.

The image one was a Samsung 65QN95B. I have moved on from it because Samsung has horrendous support and build quality, in the process of upgrading righht now

Problem is, it would be hateful if I still had it, I sent back 4 units of the QN95 series, Samsung has horrendous quality, they sent those with dirt and debris in between the display and the LED layer, dead pixels, dust inside the display itself, just horrible quality in general. The size is super fun for me, like using 4 32" monitors, I usually have half of it with text or coding, half with a video playing, or a program running, just super useful, but the market for those brings a lot of heart ache when it comes to the quality. I will make a video if I find any good 65" monitor. I am considering LG g4 next

I had all the sizes over the years, started with 15" lapotops, 17" laptops, 25" monitor, then 43" from dell, then 55" TV then 65" TV. This is the end game, I tried purchasing a larger 75" TV, had to return it, the image was not good, viewing angles not wide enough, and my neck would hurt. 65" is the sweet spot for 4K resolution, for being the most viewable and the most fun to use for me. Anything larger is a no go, anything smaller and I get eye fatigue from having to read text that is a bit too small

It is difficult indeed. Mini Shangri La will produce more bass, but also a far more revealing, faster sound. This being said, from my short experience with L300,. it sounds quite smooth and laid back, while Shangri La is more forward and more punchy / dynamic. This all being said, isn't L300 around 500 USD while Mini Shangri La around 2300 USD for the whole thing?

Cadenza 12, more complete sound with more bass and impact. A8000 is quite sharp and bright to the point it is not worth considering unless you're an absolutely treble enjoyer

@@kh-bd5ye I have not heard the He60 to say for sure how they compare. I would not get a cheaper AMP, it can reduce the sonic poerformance considerably. I am using mostly my PC for files and a collection of DACs, like HIFIMAN Serenade, but they can also work well with SMSL DO200 PRO. The work well with jazz
