Loved this show when it was shown, first time around. Brilliant that someone has now uploaded complete episodes and can watch it all again 40 years later. The series hasn't dated at all! The canal/narrow boats still look modern and the same as now. Its crazy to think that 40 years before this would be the 1944 the last two years of WWII, Adolf Hitler was still president of Germany, the Holocaust was happening, no TVs, people drove cars with mudguards on the outside, people were flying around in Spitfires, Wellingtons and Lancaster bombers listening to Glen Miller in the wireless. That's just sheer crazy!

How big a butter ball do you take me for Mr Fawlty?! Haha great to see Bruce Boa in this, Ken Campbell in a previous episode. All we need is Ballard Berkeley to appear. Loving these Bulman episodes.

Laughed out loud when this type of (Tales From The Unexpected) twist happened. Just goes to show what may occurr when you think .. *all is lost *when you take advantage of situation or*take a risky chance!!! . It's never too late to start again

From the church scene i kept trying to think and remember what i'd seen her - Penelope - in before and then it hit me, she was Daphne in the episode Steptoe & Son - and son 1970, she played a pregnant girl who turns up looking for what she thought was the father Harold of her unborn baby but turns out he was too sloshed at a party and his mate nipped in and rodgered her instead whilst Harold slept in his drunken stupor which come to think of it this episode here is literally a carbon copy of it.

The band is hysterical. This is surreal. It's as if everybody involved was doing too many drugs or everybody involved ran out of drugs when filming this. Either way love this show. This era in the BBC produced outstanding programs. Miss that time. Thanks for posting 😊

In his autobiography Dennis Waterman was very critical of Circles of Deceit. Said the production was rushed compared to The Sweeney and Minder and the writing and direction were half hearted (although I did enjoy seeing Ford Prefect). At least he managed to bounce back with New Tricks.
