Lot of wheel weights for a tractor that will probably shred some driveways and run an auger. Absolutely gorgeous tractor that someone who had one new will buy to enjoy nostalgia
@rgfarmsrepair503Ай бұрын
I put all 8 weights on because if I don't sell it I'm going to pull a pair of brent 557 wagons with it all fall and she will need all the weight possible to get them moving and stopping. Thanks for the comment
@cjcoughlin5041Ай бұрын
@rgfarmsrepair503 that makes sense. It's way too hilly where I'm at to even think about 2 gravity wagons behind a 4440 unless it was like 2 250s 😆

I would hate to use it now lol 😂. Great teamwork. Looks great

Beautiful job guys! Hardwork pays off. You guys should keep that one it's a classic. Even though I'm not a Deere fan I have to admire a job well done! That Steiger hood looks amazing as well. Would you entertain custom painting?
@rgfarmsrepair503Ай бұрын
I'm not a deere guy either but anymore it really doesn't matter to me I just like keeping old iron of any color going. I will have a video soon on 4020 that I'm putting back together and explain my views on custom painting. Thanks for the support

Think that if you were to put that tractor for sale, finding a buyer who would appreciate all the work gone into it would be nigh on impossible. (Just my opinion)
@rgfarmsrepair503Ай бұрын
I agree it's hard to find people that appreciate hard work anymore.
@hokie9910Ай бұрын
I cannot believe people don’t see the value of a pre emission tractor that is fully restored and ready to work for another 20 years with 90% less issues and for a fraction of the cost to buy. I thought you’d have farmers lined up sending you their tractors to restore every winter.
@gerardcallan5655Ай бұрын
Congratulations to you both, it looks better than the day it was taken out of the box. Be a shame to put it to work, its a show stopper.

Do not sell it!!!!! It’s going to be worth so much more money in a few more years.
