I've been following Mr Christo Wiese after the crash of Steinhoff and reading the book "The Stellenbosch mafia" and oh, what a blessing he is. I always see his heart & humility in his talks.

Interesting. Some people are lucky to have parents like these who they have access to and can learn valuable life lessons. Duty of a parent not to leave his/her kids with struggle or poverty but comfort and opportunities. My kids will have this exact same access. But not only my kids but many will easily have access to someone like me.

More people should interview their elders or even the elderly around the area that want to share their knowledge on social media to the world. Its a respect thing and a source of knowledge and many lifetimes of experiences. Do it before its to later. Let your children/kids do the filming for you if your not tech wise or you have no time. Although you do have time to read this 🫠

Aw, what a beautiful and insightful interview, Clare. Your questions were very well thought-out. And Christo Wiese (your Dad) gives such sage business advice. Christo Wiese was a client of mine over 25 years ago, when his children were still at School. What a pleasure and a privilege it was to be in his presence. He has a way of making you feel heard and interesting. He was exactly the same then as he is now, measured, considerate, kind, caring, wise, interesting, interested in all people, and the perfect gentleman. I loved what he said at the end of the interview about being an incurable optimist.

Great video,Clare! I just have 2 quick questions related to books for your dad and would greatly appreciate your response: (1) Which 3 books would he recommend me to read if I am just starting my business and want to become wealthy like him 1 day? (2) Does he recommends reading the book “Think and grow rich” by Napoleon Hill?

Hi! He recently recommended The Psychology of Money to us (his kids) and his friends. Thanks for stopping by and so glad you enjoyed the video.
