My boss knocked the purchase of a Tesla Y Rwd 194kw s/hand back this week gone, 'too posh' for us was the summary. It was amazing, the seats were the best i have ever sat in, the paint was of the highest quality. Amazing tech. Bugger! 😢

Lucy thanks for your entertaining videos. I am a Swedish car collector (14 cars, everything from Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 997, to BMW Alpina B7 1979, BMW M5 E39 and Nissan Patrol Y60). I have always been a Volvo hater. However, I have to give up and admit (since I also have two Volvos) a Volvo 940 turbo estate with just 100,000 miles on the clock and a Volvo V70 2.5 turbo AWD with 300,000! miles on the Clock are the most durable cars I've had. The only ones that can compete are Mercedes Benz 123 and 124. BUT! You must just have Volvo cars until the 2007 model year, than Ford came into the picture and started chasing costs, resulting in lower build quality and less durable materials Keep up the good work

A few months ago I aquired a 996 Carrera 2 and interesting thing is I experienced exactly the same driving impressions, or better to say, driving pleasure you both celebrate here in this wonderful little video… what a great sportscar such a 996 is. Enjoy every mile ❤

Bought a quite clapped out 23 yr old V70 for 500£. Drove it daily for a year without spending anything on it but petrol. Sold it for 250£. Cheapest car I've ever driven. Bought another 7 yrs younger for 1400£, that is now my daily driver. Haven't spent a penny on that either...

The seat fits but it’s not secured. The belt secures the child, not the seat. I’m having the same issue right now with my 996. Hard to find one that fits. Especially with a convertible where the speaker grill is closer to the bottom of the seat.

Great video, I watch a lot of car review channels, and its so nice to come across a down to earth natural presenter like yourself. Keep up the good work, P.S.. and yes the minimum requirement for a happy interaction with magpies is 2 lol :)

I also bought an Arctic silver 996 this year and since noticed it has had paint in very similar areas to yours e.g. the rear quarter 'line' of lacquer against the side of the back window. At first I was a bit disappointed but then figured for a near 22 year old car that has been driven it's fine. If I'd bought a 22,000 mile car in perfect original condition I would be too scared to drive it, and what's the point in that! The 996 is an amazing car to drive so just enjoy it! Looks great 🙂

I have a 2004 996.2 C4S. Mine is lowered / coil overs and sounds amazing. I think the bumpy feel is what we call “ analog feels”. No Nannie’s. I’d love to see you take some driving coaching on a track. You’d enjoy the car more and improve your daily driving skills. No Ranger consider a Macan ! @996Girlc4s

Absolutely beautiful machine , owned a velar for the last seven years, and looking to upgrade to the new sport or even full size Range Rover, love the comments on here from the haters and the wannabe owners, the junk comments, and the most unreliable comments , it’s the biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard , older range rovers yes , maybe but the modern ones are second to none , I’ve had a velar for seven years and never had one single issue , serviced by Land Rover technicians when due , drove properly and not like pimped up chav machine they are an epic piece of kit , I’ve took ours top of Scotland to the bottom of Cornwall , and all over Ireland , on and off road , honestly best car we’ve ever owned .

Totally agree. If you can't afford to buy and maintain it then any car will cause problems, but you know what they say about empty vessels! It's always going to be a risk buying a second hand RR as you never can tell how well it has been treated, looked after and whether it has bee serviced properly or in someone's back garden. We've owned new RRs since 1989 without any real issues and the only comment I would make is that they are no longer what the original Classic RRs set out to do. The modern era RRs are beautifully comfortable long distance cruisers but hopeless in multi-storey car parks and narrow streets - the external size and lack of visibility despite the cameras and sensors. Once out of this gridlocked country we have travelled over 600 miles in a day from the top to bottom of Spain, effortlessly. That's what they are now built to do and they do it very well. However, I do hope that the Jaguar branding fiasco isn't going to infect the LR brand or else they can soon fall from grace.
