make sure ur animations arent set to loop, by selecting the animation in assets and on the right tick looping off

I went through a lot have lost friends and in the end, u stick to people u can trust. nowerdays i hangaround friends i know. I had a friend show me around show me his friends and from friend to friend i get to know people. there u are in the middle of it. after reading the comment about this i can se the part u missing public world experience and its kinda killed off by quest.. and second i never been in to public things so never had that problem or understanding. me friends rock if u know, u know. im dont have physical or social energy so unfortently i stay with one friend and wach movies... that me time in VRC right now speaking of fake, i try to be as genuine as i can on the internet. why because i can be me self exprece and be how i want to be... there sure people out there being something else. but try be true to ur selfe how u are and ur get a easier time. ur friends gona like urselfe for what u are and if the dont, thats not true friends u need to be true to them too.

I mostly do modding for groups and i get to actually see new faces as well as the same frequent visitors but it really is sad when it feels like being back in school when you walk in the cafe and its always the same group of ppl talking to each other. Its aggravating when the most i can get out of someone is a complement on my avatars or "ooo where'd you get it". I can say i transitioned between all said here. That being a meme, social platform, and lone quest wandering cause it offers so little now. As much of a pain unity can be its the only thing holding up my motivation on VRchat nowadays cause i gotta create my own new content it seems.

For me in the beginning i was an early person/ young when I played vrc and I wanted it for like being goku or Freddy like any dumb person and a few months before I used it to talk to friends but I did one thing wrong and they had to dox me and I know j was wrong but like really in a vr game really dramatic yelling is enough but like really people are toxic in the game and if you fuck with the wrong person oooh you are fucked really I barley log on I just want the feeling of being somebody I’m not like really I’m more charismatic in vrc then irl it’s a real problem like I can’t be myself so anyone who has hated vrc lol I HEAR ya kid

Known you for a while 20nic and you bring up very valid point, I myself stay on orange and hang out with a close group. Alot of people struggle to go and make new friends cause as you said public worlds are not fun, they are not safe, and are not good in general as they once were. There has to be a re-balance of what it once was and who is aloud on (Mainly taking about quest kids) to help return it back to. I went into a public world not to long ago and was met with Quest users (Not saying all are like this but my experience as of late) use vulgar language including but not limited to slurs, death threats, and even illegal statements that needs to addressed. This is the repellent that sent this borderline between a social game and what seems to be a closed world of isolation so you can somewhat enjoy the game that you bought you're way into. Creators have make wonderful things for VR Chat and I will always support them for what they have created, but there also users who have made things through malicious intent. Its like going to a supermarket and sticking to what you know how to make and reaching outside you're bubble to explore different taste if one time you bought something it was expired. Enough of those instances can detatch you from accomplishing what VRC was made for but hitting the hammer on the nail with a lot of you're claims

Boredom can be a powerful thing to drive creativity. For example I lose my creativity if I am constantly busy, without a chance to be bored. Its not fun, but its not a bad thing. Looking forward for more videos and tutorials ✌🏻

Great video!!! I persnonally love meeting new people and dont usually stay in one group, but i do mostly stay on orange because i do enjoy exploring worlds by myself and having some alone time! Sure vrchat's whole point of the game is too socialize, but sometimes my social battery runs out but i still want to go out and do stuff :p There is times when im not on orange tho, i dont like to be too isolated. I also dont think theres any need for the red status, I think people use it to erp lol.

You describe several times what red/orange/blue means to you, and your feelings are legitimate. But I feel completely differently about what they mean. For me, I mostly stay on orange/red because I'm terrified of saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing, offending someone, etc..., so I only go on blue when I am feeling brave. Then I'll wander public game worlds and meet random new people, have fun, but when my social battery is out it's back to orange/red until I feel brave again. I love that I have some control, that I can add a "soft" barrier whenever I need the extra sense of security. In other words, to me, the statuses aren't about other people at all. They're not about what I am feeling towards my friends. They are simply what I am feeling internally on any given day.

Mostly on orange because I'm usually in other friend's instances and don't always feel comfortable with some of my other friends just popping in. Like if I'm with the chill friend that I'm trying to relax with I don't want the high energy friend popping in without notice even if it is friends+. Just my way of things. I'll go green if it's an event and I know the instance owner well enough. I don't see it as fair to say "fake depression." While I'm sure there are those that do, I know others that definitely aren't faking it. Including myself sometimes. I'll go into a world with a good atmosphere, grab a pen and write my thoughts in the air. Don't think I'd be wasting my time doing that if I were faking. Plus, know others that use red just because they're testing avatars or watching things in desktop mode. Plenty of reasons to want privacy and not have invites popping up. As for blue, just never have a reason for it. Like really, I would only use it if I were in a friends+ but may as well just use green. Am I part of a friend group? Sure. But there's also so much overlap between friend groups that I'm always seeing new people. Think it's only a problem if all the group ever does is chill out in private instances. Mine like to game and do karaoke a lot so plenty of chances for new encounters.

I’ve played for 6 years I’ve done some stuff I will admit I have a valve index and full body I did dumb stuff I will admit and it took me a while to realize the same things I remember being a out cast a lot but I managed to make some good friends that I’ve totally been playing other games with almost daily like once human or Roblox and other games so I will say there’s still some good people out there

I usually have orange on when I'm going to be world hopping through potentially unstable worlds or if I'm listening to a friend who's talking about troubles they're going through. Haven't used red, I don't really need to. Otherwise I'm on green and blue most of the time. I sometimes hang out in public worlds I start just to see who joins, some worlds attract the kind of people I get along with so I've gotten to talk to a few cool people that way. They're not high traffic worlds, so anyone joining is looking for that kind of thing so we have a very high chance of already have something in common.

Yeah, it sounds like as if the uploader just had an argument with someone for not stepping over some social bounderies and now he made a video about "why most people is bad in this game". Plus it's just like any social media / chat platform, there always will be all type of people and also obviously some circles that are mostly closed from outsiders. People like him should understand that social circles are like an onion, so has lots of layers, where the middle of the onion is the social circle that's the closest to the people inside of it and in most cases you will need a miracle to get in if you wasn't there at the very beginning of that social circle's foundation.

I have a group, but we usually do Friends+ instances and everyday there is someone new. Almost everyone of us sometimes go to public instances, so we know more people, and this people sometimes join us, so... The group is always changing. If I count the people of the group today, it is not the same exact people of the group a couple months before.

As an introvert, i prefer smaller groups of people. That makes it much easier for me to connect rather than being drowned out in a crowd. Additionally i've realised that i just can't keep up with a bunch of people. 5-10 close friends is about all i got time for tho i still hang out with "The group" i still don't have the time or social energy to spend on individual friendships. On top of this, the public worlds are just filled with a bunch of memes and obnoxious people that have just sucked the enjoyment out of it. At best, i join an event (like furality) or an avatar group (such as the awtters, tho that was a looooong time ago now), but i am completely done with public worlds. The things i love about vrchat is exploring amazing worlds and playing around with avatars (and see what others make with them), but whenever i have time and social energy, i prefer to do this with the close friends i got. I am also not a fan of people just showing up out of the blue rather than just request to join. That way i can mentally prepare for more people or potentially turn them away if i'm busy or socially drained. This is why i prefere the orange status.

I suppose I am the same way! I have a list of many I haven't been able to keep up with. Haven't been adding new friends but instead am trying to keep up with the ones I already have. I still meet really cool people but I prefer to enjoy the moment and not add people to this endless void of a list. There's not that much time in a day and it's very hard to keep up with everyone so eventually some people become names that I don't remember so having those close connections is wonderful. Public maps can be chaotic but I have met really nice people in there as well but still prefer the smaller hangouts. Sometimes I go on red because of people requesting to join or getting anxiety when others might pop in randomly and change the vibe entirely so I think orange is important as well. I think I worry too much about some of my friends interacting because of personality clashes but it's not my responsibility to keep track of who gets along, I just get nervous mingling and I wish I didn't. VR chat is a place for everything. These pretty worlds and fun avatars keep me coming back but I have lost a lot of the excitement that came from it. My first two years (2020-2022) were some of my favorites. There's just so much to keep up with so I'll just take it lightly day by day trying my best to not get overwhelmed by it all. As much as I'd like to be there for everyone & explore every map, to organize plan & get people together does take time. Let's spend our time the way we want! But first it takes figuring out what we want to begin with :3

@@20nik I'm not quite sure what you mean by controlled, but some people just don't enjoy surprise visits, even if they are friends. I like the people on my friends list (otherwise i wouldnt have added them) and love to see them, but i just want a heads up. Like in real life, i'd like a call or at least a knock on the door before i let people in, even if they're my friends. Thats kinda how orange works for me.

@@20nik Well... Thinking about it, i don't seem to have that issue when it comes to message apps or MMOs with text chat (Like WoW or FFXIV). Voice chats affects me a bit and VR feels real enough that it affects me fully. I feel more socially pressured in calls and vr as i don't have the time to really think and formulate my thoughts properly. Combine this with my introverted personality and it creates the line where i feel like i need a heads up? I don't know :P

This whole video is so true. I used to play a lot of vrchat and hang out in publics with friends etc but nowdays I never get on by myself, I only get on if someone wants to hang out with me. It just feels so sterile (I think it's as you said very controlled) I don't know how to explain it better. 90% of my friendlist is orange most of the time. Weekends most of them go to drinking nights and I don't like drinking so that's a no for me. And it really doesn't feel comfortable for me to join a friend who's in a friends+ and they are with their group instance I will just end up being quiet on the side. Watching movies is fine once in a while but I really don't get how some watch movies every single day for hours upon hours. I recently went to Furality and I joined some of the meet ups there for different interests etc. And even there, people were in small groups, all seperated from each other, I couldn't talk to anyone because everyone was already with a small group, why are you coming here if you are just gonna be with your existing friends anyway? The point is so that new people meet each other and talk about things they are both interested in, not to a hang out spot for you and your friends. It was very disappointing.

Most issues I have been seeing is poor support for Base VrChat games. Quest users are getting left behind but they make up a good portion of the player base that filled the lobbies and add the fun.

I enjoyed your content, lots of stuff you've done has taught me things I didn't know, I really did like you as a content creator... As of late though, it seems you've been taking things rather negatively, someone tries to be more open minded in the community and you say "I was bored." or "I faked it all." what about all the friendships you genuinely made, then why make these tutorials to help this demographic, why use the avatars if it was all a facade? It just confuses me that your entire answer to faking all this was "I was bored." is there really no other truthful answer?

not, thats pretty much it. i do a lot of stuff out of boredom, even irl, same reason why i make and made tutorials, i was bored and needed something to do. as for friendships i never rly had those, or well it didnt feel like anything to me. im a rather emotionless person so i dont understand the value of friendships and i prob never will. i did a lot of things out of boredom and for the most part i wish i didnt, cuz i either tried to fit in or simply again...was bored. thats pretty much it.

Followed the same exact steps as in the video, though the tails i have won't change size while using the feature manager to check it in play mode.
