Try to forget what you’ve heard and read about worked fights or shoots in Japan. Watch the match, and if you are knowledgeable about fighting, you should be able to tell if it’s real or not. Pancrase, Pride, and UFC all had works and they’re on the fighters records. This is a competitive match under unique rules; striking standing, grappling on the ground with strikes from only certain positions allowed. Kingdom just started having real matches and was figuring out the rules; similarly to Rings and Pancrase. Try to forget what you think you know about Japanese MMA and let you’re eyes determine what’s real. In reality only the fighters know for sure.

After watching the video of the russian guy trying this ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKrSap5tp6qnZtU ) and ending up paralyzed I would not try this unless its for some type of fantasy action film etc and the person your doing it on is fully expecting it and ready to hold your weight .

The pace choke is done from bottom half. Assuming you can’t throw in the other leg for the triangle. Also the pace choke is done with two hands with a gable grip. So it technically is the pace choke. Different grips, different position, different circumstances, different compression, different direction of the choke, it’s very very similar but it’s different in certain ways. You can get away with hitting the pace choke without needing to have a full guard or a rubber guard

see, i think if you increase the weight acordling, my speed will become faster than anyone ever built. Hopefully to anyone who sees this commet you will find me (in about 5 years) of just throwing jabs with the 15 pound dunbells i have. I will hopefully be able to throw faster than ANYONE POSSIBle
