@LeilaAtaya14 күн бұрын
@@ElijahKondratyuk i just go to my local art shop and pick something up. There are a few different brands that make this sand paper like pastel mat, they also come in different sizes and sometimes I'll just get whatever is on special and then cut it down to size I need. Just use whatever size you need for YOUR project. You can make it bigger or smaller etc.

Thank you - I really enjoyed watching this! Another thing that might be fun to try would be using the putty with masking fluid for some resist effects..

@@jessicaknight8974 the cool thing about it is that it’s very versatile so can try anything with it and masking fluid could be an interesting thing to try. One thing through- it’s very smudgy so removing masking fluid could be problematic , but it has to be tried first to see what would happen 😊

Would you recommend alcohol markers over regular ones? These seem like they are much better and the price is very affordable especially for how much you get. Also, do these markers tend to bleed or is the ink rapid-dry? The website doesn’t specify on whether they bleed through pages easily. Love the content as always!
@LeilaAtaya28 күн бұрын
The most common marker is alcohol marker but you can also get acrylic, water-based markers too. As for the bleeding... they did bleed through the sketch book paper heavily but not through the other two paper types. So I guess it would depend on the paper you'll be using them on 😊 As a guide - the more poreless the paper is the less bleed through you will get.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!! I have trouble getting stuff online, I have to see it, touch it etc, except for the equipment/paint I get for my classes. If I would have seen this set online I would have never thought it was as good as it is. The more stuff I'm testing out that brands send me the more I'm amazed. The only thing is that postage can sometimes be expensive and because I'm in New Zealand it's always quite high. But at the moment there is a discount 15% off with the code under the video, check the postage price to see if it is worth your while. All the best in your projects 😊
