I love the granulation technique, the variety of colors that are now available is amazing. There is so much texture the technique affords you. You are the best teacher, thank you 🙏🏼 ♥️

Howdy Flower : - Hope all's well in the hermit kingdom...... ...... I loved watching that blue paint/wash/pool **just about** hold it's place on the paper, as you worked from left to right - a mixture of surface tension in the water/paint, and, a capillary action from the papers' fibres stopping it from running down?. I bet you've done this sooo many times, you'll know visually the maximum amount possible before you end up with a run-disaster on the paper....?? (!). Practice Eh. And at around 10:45 onwards : Like the "wild/moody" painting you did of the leafless tree on a mountain a few months ago = The colours and bloom/spread of the blue/green paint remind me of Blue/Veined Cheese...... Stilton, Blacksticks etc. - Food Of The Gods!. Making me hungry now thinking about cheese!!. Finally Chuck, your new audio gear : - That microphone (and perhaps a preamp that came with it?) sounds absolutely brilliant. It picks up the whole range of your voice, including those all-important "clicks" and "hisses" when you speak. A True Full Range Microphone..... I've seen many KZbinrs using Rode gear, including plenty of "million-plus" subscriber uploaders. Seems to be a "toss-up" between Rode and Shure? - But I know/bet Shure mics. are a LOT of money : for not a lot of noticeable difference when comparing the two??. Bye Leila, and as always = Thank You.

Haha yes sometimes the drop drops 😂 but that's why I always have a tissue or a rug handy ... just in case! Shure and Rode both have a big range of mics available from very expensive to more affordable but from many reviews I noticed that shur sounds better with male voices. I'm happy with the one I have. I thought I would need a stand for it as well but it seems to work ok on the table too and doesn't pick up much vibration. Hope everything is well in UK😊

Perfect timing for me to discover your channel, Leila, and so appreciate the easy to follow way you broke down the steps of creating washes and underpaintings. You created a springboard for so much experimentation, and in a way that new learning can also lead to many beautiful results. Thanks so much, excited to be a new subscriber. 🙏❤🙏

Once again Leila your tutorials are fantastic! I have found "imho" keeping the canvas aka the painting surface with watercolors lower or a bit more procumbent to the surface the best for me. A lot less running of the watercolor paint... Sometimes watercolors get to "running" for me. Great tips and I'm excited to try them... You're the best Leila! Thank you...

You always seem to defy my “predetermined/assumptive visual logic” when making broad strokes with watercolors. I keep expecting them to blot but, as you demonstrate here, the colors become uniformly seamless and so smooth. The finished paintings at the 13:00 min mark (absolutely beautiful, and those quick pen strokes to accentuate the petals!) and the 17:00 min mark (so pleasantly natural) are testimony to your artistic talent. Do you ever sell these “instructional” works? As always, your videos make the days brighter as well!

WOW!!! Thank you. I was ok with postcard sized washes doing what I wanted but anything bigger looked exactly like your "gone wrong" bit. I tried all 3 techniques in larger sizes and all worked well for me. Key for me was working quickly as you said. I am very new to watercolor ... I "think" I like wet on wet best but I can see the uses for the other 2 and I am very glad to know them. ❤❤
