Try making the same meats but use Celtic salt instead, with the added minerals or maybe it's the salt itself. It makes everything taste so much nicer. Trust me, it's little more pricey but you'll love it. I add little celtic salt to my Electrolyte hydration drinks, i add a pinch or celtic salt to my coffee even. It just makes everything taste so much better. It would make the jerky taste even better than it was already.

Hi Neah. From your story it seems like it was more oxalate toxicity in whole grains, super foods, nuts, fruits & seeds. Not sure if you ever read “Toxic Superfoods“ by Sally K Norton. She became a strict carnivore after being very ill throughout her life from high oxalate foods. You should definitely read it. She has helped many ppl like myself as well. I’m happy you found meat to heal. Because all animal products like meat, diary, eggs & cheese have zero oxalates.

Can I ask please. I am 100% carnivore, no coffee, just drink water. I don't eat dairy. I am currently healing an autoimmune issue (psoriasis) I want to ask if I can make a heavily meat based really fatty stew but put some baby potatoes. Carrots and a couple of onions in? You reckon I wouldn't be able to heal because of that? Thanks

It's possible that would hinder your progress. Psoriasis can be tricky, and so eliminating as many variables (foods) as possible is typically a good idea in the beginning until it clears. Then you can try to re-introduce one food at a time and see if it triggers the condition.

I made this and it upset my stomach and caused diarrhea. I used LMNT for 3 1/2 months and it didn't bother me at all. Does it take time to adjust?

Why do you say that the 90/10 ($3.98/Lb) is the most economical when it is more expensive than the 80/20 ($3.88/Lb)?

Travel package hint: cut a straw to desired length, close one end with a heat crimper, scoop one serving into the straw, then heat crimp the open end. You can do several at a time, (when making the mix), then you have grab and go that fit anywhere, purse, pocket, etc.

Interesting. I had no clue this problem existed. Explains why I sleep like crap on my protein-only diet (trying to lose 25 lbs). I'll give this a shot when I get down to my target weight! Thank you!

Thanks Leah, greetings from Ireland, catching up on some of you video’s 😊 lots of great advice. Its a total journey. The adaption period to carnivore is not much spoken about in the carnivore community, let us know how you get on with the new electrolyte mix, is there a difference with the calcium citrate? ❤🥩🙌

Feel free to serve it raw. Been eating all my beef raw for over a month. Wash it and cut it and don't worry about the cooking. I've found I don't feel like salting it at all now and it tastes great.

Hi, very interesting that you have recorded things so meticulously and have been able to use that data to improve your sleep. I have been using cream to increase my fat intake. We have Double Cream, Extra thick Double Cream and Clotted Cream in the UK. Absolutely delicious but it has taken some time for my stomach to become adapted as I was suffering heart burn.

Totally understand not having control with certain foods like sugar. It’s addiction. I do notice keto and carnivore help curb those cravings for me, but if I have a small amount of something like candy, forget about game over.

I have suffered from insomnia for over six decades. I found that white noise helps immensely. The other thing that works for me that breaks every rule is to turn on several strings of blue fairy lights and read with no other lights on for about 30 minutes. Often I start yawning long before 20 minutes are up. Blue light puts me to sleep.

Everyone I see is using these silicone molds. Do you realize the forever chemicals in these molds is causing all kinds of horrific issues with our bodies!? Plastic is such a HUGE no-no on any diet. Wasting your time trying to heal your body, then loading it up with the most toxic chemicals on the planet. Read the research. They know 25 years ago about the toxicity and damage it does to the human body. Article I read 25 years ago in Scientific America about a study they did regarding alligators in the Florida swamps they were finding with no testicles, or underdeveloped testicles and the alarming low birth rate of those alligators. Come to find out, after checking the water they lived in, it was chock full of extremely toxic chemicals being pumped into that water by factories producing plastic. This was 25 years ago!! There is much more research on it now. Watch the movie Erin Brockovitch, or the other movie that is about Dupont Industries and what they did concerning forever chemicals in teflon and other products and the coverups they tried to get away with. Really bad all around. Glass, cast iron, stainless steel are the best to use.

I did for 5 days.... 5 days, before I had to dial it back into regular keto and it been a rollercoaster since. Eggs started tasting slimy. I have to do them hard boiled to make them somewhat tolerable. Chicken started tasting weird (.. and I love chicken!) I had some rotisserie chicken and a swear to you I could taste what that chicken had eaten and it didn't taste good at all. Bacon apparently is sweet to me now.. Apparently I like chorizo sausage too. I was tempted to try pork but I need to find some range pork just so can have something to go with my beef. I can eat beef I'm just not craving it I occasionally knock myself out of keto for a control food that let's me feel like I'm cheating. I couldn't drink Orange Juice. It was like jamming a whole orange in my.mouth.... NOTHING SHOULD EVER BE THAT SWEET. So there is something to be said for Lion Doet
