What happens when the laser hits its end of life, I’m assuming you have to buy a new machine since the laser module isn’t replaceable? Or is it?

Question on those toe clamps...are the ones in the video at 7:34 3/4 version? so you get the size of your wood thickness I assume.

For 10" sliding saws, the Hitachi is known to be the best. Not made anymore and expensive if you can find one in decent condition.

What made you get the 10 instead of the 22? I know the 22 can do different colors on stainless steel that’s why I’m leaning towards the higher watt plus I want to be able to cut clear acrylic as well

Chris, Does your Makita have a stop at 0 degrees after you have come back up from tilting it to the left 45 degrees? Mine doesn’t seem to, so the stop adjustment for 0 degrees seems worthless. Please help!

Looks great. I know I am asking late, as the video says its from 2 years ago. Did you end up replacing the view screen? on the video it doesn't appear to be blocking much of the blue light from the laser.
@mattbendzinski4945Ай бұрын
yes they have semi-transparent and solid. I prefer the deeper color of the solid so I'm going to be trying that. We'll see how it goes. I've heard the thickness makes the Minwax harder to use. I'll have to try it out. If really bad, I may try Varathane or Mohawk.

They’ve probably changed the software 700 times since I made this video. That’s one of the reasons I stopped using it.

Sweet project dude. Thanks for sharing your process. I will be trying this with my own logo soon. Looks like I had guessed the general steps pretty accurately but you dropped a bunch of extra nuggets here that can only come with experience. Thank you!

I need some advice. I bought my grandfather's old wrecker business and I've found a 3"x5' stainless steel rod. No paper work or anything. What can I do with it? Or should I sell it?

Shame xTool have priced it so highly (even without the discount it should have been sub $3,000 imo)

It is not really a fibre but it is a 20 watt infrared laser module galvo a fibre is what move the laser light source from the cabinet to the galvo head I own cloudy 60 watt raycus and one of the original backers of the F1 soon to be for the F1 Ultra

@kenneysheppard7763Ай бұрын
It looks to be amazing but the price point is where it gets me. $3,799 plus accessories can be a big risk. It's hard to commit to a new machine that's not proven in the real world.
@ChrisPowellFSDАй бұрын
xTool wouldn’t release it if it wasn’t ready. It’s an expansion of the already proven F1 and uses technology that’s been around for a long time.

@@ChrisPowellFSD. I have the P2, S1, and F1 and they’re all fantastic but the F1 is notorious for problems. Always buy that extended warranty
