I ordered the upgrade before watching your video. I can’t wait for it to come.

Mines coming next week! Can’t wait, the 5 watt was fun to learn with but I’m ready to do some real cutting with a 40watt

U have a Material list settings for the 40W

I have watched so many videos on the 40w laser and nothing that talks about the cross hair lasers being behind the head and how to change the setting for that on LightBurn

Great video! Can you tell me if you can cut or engrave white Delrin with the xTool diode lasers? I know CO2 lasers work, but can't find any information online about diode lasers and Delrin.

I'm retired and really close to dropping the ball on the xTool D1 Pro. My question is, is it worth it to spend the money on a 40w? I'm thinking of going with the 20w. I don't see a lot of cutting, and even if I was, I don't think it would be more than a 3/8in. I realize it will be faster for all products as well. I can get the 20w with rotary tool for $1600, The 40w is another $1000. What are your thoughts?

Could you share what software you are using with the XTool? Is it compatible with Lightburn?

Yes, that’s what I use.

Have you done their Infrared laser? Wondering how it works on metal

I haven’t had the chance to try it yet. Hopefully I get the opportunity. I’m interested to see what it can do too.

How fast is per second?
@ChadsCustomCreations2 жыл бұрын
If you divide his speeds by 60 it will give you the speed per second.

So slow overpriced machine 😂
@ChrisPowellFSD2 жыл бұрын
@@techtrontest8950 you might want to run those numbers again. This is the faster diode laser on the market, and considerably cheaper than a co2 laser.

🤔 Three-quarters of the way in and so far I haven't seen it do anything my 20-watt can't.
@FIYARtv Жыл бұрын
It pretty much does what yours does but faster and through thicker wood

Looks like it needs to be done outside with all the smoke it creates. Even in the garage you would need a door open
@ChrisPowellFSD Жыл бұрын
With any laser you’ll need some sort of ventilation.
@CreativeCustomDesigns Жыл бұрын
@@ChrisPowellFSD yes we have a laser, and to use it you have to close the lid first. The Xtool shows it working in the open.
@ChrisPowellFSD Жыл бұрын
@@CreativeCustomDesigns it can be. You just have to deal with the smoke. Burning materials results in fumes. I use mine in the garage with the door open. I run a fan to blow the smoke out.
