I feel like Come to Daddy by Aphex Twin would go insanely hard over this scene.

What was that scene about..he had to chose the girl singing because of pressure...when betty should have been chosen????
@user-pr5tx9ep4m2 күн бұрын
He's instructed earlier that he MUST choose this girl. Notice he pauses while lighting his cigarette when his assistant says the actresses name.

As crazy as this scene gets, it always cracks me up that he takes a second “NOPE NOT DOING THIS” 😂

I’ve watched this at least 10 times this week on different platforms because I like the way she says “meanwhile” and that guttural scream is bone chilling. Gives me goosebumps all over.

I just saw this yesterday in theaters. I was in the center of the entire theatre. This scene mesmerized me more than any other scene I've ever seen.

one of the most incredible episodes of prime time television ever created. when i watched this episode for the first time as a teen i was floored. i was stunned. i sat there gaping in horror and desperation at my tv as the credits rolled and laura palmer stared at me thru the text. i couldnt stop thinking about it and the screams of laura's doppelganger has stayed burned permanently in my mind forever.

The irony here, in this scene, is that "the girl" is actually good. Love you Lynch, you'll never be forgotten for your genius.

I was subscribed to his online website with a 24/7 chat room back in the early 2000’s. When he would enter you would know it by his signature entrance noise. I was able to ask him a question. My screen name was snow dog. The question was, do you gain influences from drugs to create your ideas. He said no. He than became to talk about his now famous transcendental meditation he was practicing
