It's my Goal to some Day Deliver for UPS , i have worked for 3 Amazon Dsp's and now I'm Currently working for FedEx ground Delivery and I honestly love and enjoy this job profession, i always make sure to use my directionals when leaving a stop before pulling away from the curb, i always use my Four way Flahers , and if Approaching a vehicle parked in front of a house i Honk while im still 15 to 20 feet behind the vehicle, and if I have to back up i honk the horn every 15 seconds or 3 feet , i sweep my mirrors (Check left mirror, ahead and the right mirror) after the vehicle comes to a Complete stop and is turned off i apply the hand brake tires facing back towards the curb , i maintain at least 10 to 12 feet behind the vehicle in front of me to keep my buffer zone /stopping distance clear , when stopped at a red light i apply the parking brake and quickly release it when the light changes. I have learned a lot only because I paid for a professional D.O.T. driving coarse to train me on how to become a better and safer Driver while operating a P12000 step van , I was recently given the opportunity to Take a serpentine Driving test through UPS and passed it with 100% driving score . Hope you and everyone who reads this is doing well and are blessed.

Thats nothing when i was qualifying my p1000 was top to bottom and front to back with 1st day airs mixed in because the loaders suck and they wont let you work off the clock or clock in to load your own truck. I could deliver your p1000 and run -75 to -120 my personal best -130. Didnt eat and took my lunches driving back to the building in gridlock traffic is what got me in trouble. Eventually quit and worked somewhere else. What they dont tell you is that after qualifying you will only get 20 hours a week for a year or two until a spot opens up. But if thats what some people want more power to them.
