0:35 I think the reason they show adults is because young kids look up to adults so it makes them think "if an adult is doing it then it must be cool."

i think soulless still makes sense, because those games sold it to the devil (CEOs) still doesnt mean the devs deserve hate because you generaly dont hear stories about people selling their souls just because anyway, im gonna go prepare myself for when i inevitably get sued for libel by the devil

I've been playing since day 1. Never spent a penny on the game. Not too worried about minmaxxing. Unfortunately, the game doesn't work too well with my lifestyle anymore since I just had a baby. You don't exactly sleep through a night anymore once that happens.

I’m a sort of lazy sleeper, I guess you’d call it, because an alarm is not good at waking me up, so I have to have my mom wake me up for school

i feel like the idea of this would be amazing for someone like me. for people with disabilities like depression, autism, adhd, chronic pain etc, waking up is actually terrible and is sometimes an impossible task. especially for me who struggles with transitions, my bodily weakness and lack of motivation. in concept, an alarm clock that tracks your movement and gently coaxes you to see if you can get out and stay out of bed is perfect. the playful rewards and interacting with my interests is like a cherry on top. but in nintendo's execution, this wouldn't be effective at all. especially not for the price.

Honestly, I do think this would help me, mostly because I used to set around 30 alarms to wake up in the morning (I might be over exaggerating, but I honestly don't think I am, working fast food does that to a bitch 💀), but now I have a girlfriend who is a somewhat light sleeper, so, Nintendo gamers, all you gotta do is get someone to love you, and set an alarm on your phone :3 I'm slightly trolling, but, genuinely, for Nintendo fans, like myself, I do think this could be an okay product, just because of the brain's association of these noises with danger, in a game. I think they could have done better, for sure, I mean, how about an alarm clock that makes you beat a level of the original Mario Bros games, or else it literally never shuts up? For the Zelda stuff, why is the sound of low hearts in any of the Zelda games not a thing? The idea is there, but I feel like they were trying too hard to cater to EVERYONE, as opposed to making a product that would appeal specifically to Nintendo gamers. There's light, airy tracks with less abrasive sound effects, but then also Splatoon warzones. An alarm clock for light sleepers is just an alarm clock. Nothing particularly has to be changed about the formula of an alarm clock, for them. Some people just can't fall back asleep once their alarm goes off. I'm not one of those people. I need different sounds, and maybe even something complex that forces me to get up and/or think about something before I can actually fully wake up. I do genuinely think, like, a Mario Maker alarm clock is a fantastic idea. Either it picks a level, with a range of clear rates that you can personally set, from the MM2 servers, and plays loud music and sound effects to wake you up, and you can't turn it off until you either clear the level or die 1-10 times, or it just makes a level and tests it for completion from the time you wake up in the morning to the next time the alarm goes off, with the same requirements as the other idea. That'd be fantastic. Or even just the idea I said earlier of it just being a level, or part of a level, from a classic Nintendo game. Classic because then the hardware required for it wouldn't cost too much to mass produce. Anyways, long ass rant aside, this thing just leaves so much to be desired, and, while I think it could work for some people, $100 is a steep asking price when the Corneria theme from the first Star Fox game starts with a loud sting, and you can just download it on your phone and it should jolt you awake every morning (I used it for a LONG time, and it almost always worked, despite being a normally very deep sleeper)

I'm not gonna lie to you, I think this would be a really cool thing to have and I would genuinely enjoy the chaos of it (it would definately make me mad sometimes though don't get me wrong). It is not worth $100, that's way too much in this economy. And to be fair, I could be wrong. Because I had this Zelda alarm app (which was just called Zelda Alarm) and it had a very similar UI in the sense it was immersive and interactive like alarmo (without the chaos) and it would make me play a certain song on the ocarina to disable it. I could pick which song I wanted as my alarm, I at first picked the gaurdian one (which REALLY helped) but one time I put on the Molduga theme and kept it for so long that I STILL hate it! I had dragon roost as an alarm too and It took me forever to actually like the song again, which is sad because the dragon roost theme is amazing. I definately think the only way to wake up is with genuinely awful or scary video game sounds, because otherwise you'll end up hating your favorite video game soundtracks and that's super depressing. So alarmo is kinda right with its chaos, but it does need to be either toned down or at least optional/adjustable, jesus...

Honestly I don't really get people who play the game this way. I've been playing for well over a year and it's just a chill critter-collecting game for me. I stick with the first pokemon of each species I find, I've never spent a cent of real money and have more diamonds than I need even though they're supposed to be the premium currency. I love that there are no ads and I never feel like I've lost anything if my score for the week isn't as good as it could have been if I had stronger pokemon or better sleep scores.
