I played this as a kid. It was best played with 2 person magic. The wizard had unlimited freezing spells. They could also find 2 more spells on each level. Things like healing, fireball, breaking walls, invincibility, fast feet, teleporting back to the knight or the chest. When you are the knight, it is easier to defeat the black knights by walking backwards away from them. The end of the game had a dragon on level 4. In the dragon's lair, there were three treasures hiding the developers initials.

This game looks pretty fun. Since you like making puzzle type games, I'd love to see a forklift game where you work in a warehouse setting picking up items and loading them into a truck. Game could be called Warehouse or something. It could be a puzzle type game where items have different shapes to be loaded.

New to Intellivision myself but I decided to stay away from the homebrew scene due to prices and short availability window. However with Atari acquiring all rights to Intellivision IP and with them reaching out to the Atari homebrew scene (Bob DeCrescenzo in particular) and making new cartridges themselves I'm hoping that these sell well and encourages Atari to dive into the Intellivision scene and work with the homebrew to make new cartridges for some of these out of print games (with the only major hurdle being if the homebrew game is based on an existing IP).

I remember walking into Prange Way and seeing the NES setup with ROB on the jewelry counter. It wasn't on, it was just being displayed. I don't know if it was real or just a display unit. It was probably a "coming soon" deal. At the time, I was gaming and programing on a C128, and wasn't paying much attention to game consoles. I think one thing that made the NES special for me, was that, at the time before launch, you'd see those Play Choice 10 or Nintendo versus machines in the arcades and 7-11's, so, even before the console launch, I was already familiar with at least Super Mario Bros and Excitebike, and when people started actually getting the game console, it was incredible, because the only difference in the graphics between the arcade machines and the home versions, was just the screen being turned horizontal at home instead of vertical. It was really the first time an arcade game came home.

The funny thing about NES carts as that the inside is mostly empty space in most cases. I like the Famicom cartridge type look. Smaller and many color variations on the plastic.

Someone made this for Coleco Vision but I could not play it because it requires the SGM which makes no sense because it's just a simple one screen puzzle game and not a game with detained graphics, it's not like it's a complex Adventure game with high rez graphics or a True Arcade Quality game. I did order a SGM so when it finally arrives I'll be able to check it out and play some of the SGM required game ROMs I've downloaded. Traffic Jam by Team Pixelboy | 2017 You're Sandy Olson, a young and beautiful traffic policewoman in charge of helping hundreds of drivers face the unavoidable traffic jam caused by summer roadworks. One of those drivers is Danny Zucku, an executive who works for a very important company. He has been your friend for some time, but now you feel you want to be something more than only his friend. So you make an extra effort to help him get to his job on time, by moving the cars and trucks around the area to clear a path for Danny's sportscar. As the days pass, the traffic jams get worse, and helping Danny becomes quite a challenging puzzle for you. If Danny cannot escape the morning traffic, he may get fired! This game is part of the Team Pixelboy Budget Series.

You're talking about Jeffrey Jones. It's too bad that at one point in the movie they didn't include at least a small animated part that resembled the animated Beetlejuice series. And speaking of Ivan reitman that guy's made some of the best movies of all time stripes heavy metal I think he was on animal House too. Maybe where people end up is kind of like the ghost train on final fantasy 6, arguably the best part of game

My biggest issue with the Mortal Kombat movie was the actor that played Kano. His accent wasn't consistent between scenes and even changed twice during a scene with Sonya. Whenever he showed up it kept bringing me out of the movie. All I could think about was, "who hired this guy?" Whereas the actors in the live action Mario movie at least tried their best despite the script being changed a few times while filming. As for a Zelda movie, I haven't played a Zelda game since the N64, but Link was a "silent protagonist" (ignoring the grunts in the N64 games), so how can that be translated to a live action movie? In the end, though, if the people like the movies, who am I to say they are wrong?

Video games to movies are OK, the problem arises when coked-up executives get involved and make them a souless cash grab. Plus the movies can't always be totally accurate, they need to be somewhat Hollywood to appeal to a wider audience (to make more $). As long as you do not let Uwe Boll direct it, you movie will be alright
