Growing up I saw the Intellivision as an inferior product, not knowing it was the first 16-bit system. I went from the 2600 to the Colecovision to the NES....so on and so on... I bought the Intellivision Lives! collection and the Flashback, and eventually picked up a system and around ten games for $40. I'm hoping with Atari's acquisition of the Intellivision IP we get a Digital Eclipse collection similar to Atari 50.

Yeah , I definitely see Atari coming out with some Intellivision collections and probably individual Intellivision game releases on the new VCS or even an Intellivision VCS Vault . Also I see them making some deals for newer homebrews to at least be released on the new Atari VCS . I could also see another Intellivision mini coming out and probably have Digital Eclipse bring out a documentary/ game collection like the Atari 50 Anniversary Collectorvision and bring it to multiple consoles and Steam . They already have Intellivision shirts reasy to go lol . Thanks for another great video , Brian !!!!

I did not grow up with Intellivison but my best friends brothers had one in their room. I hardly ever got to play it, they locked their door. LOL But from time to time I was allowed to jam on it. It was always "that" console. The one just out of reach. Time went on and I just let it go. I have no doubt Atari will do right by Intellivision fans. Something like the 2600+ would be AMAZING. Guess we will have to wait and see. Oh, by the way, you started all this. LMAO Great take bro. Get better, man.

There was a second PC disc called Intellivision Rocks that had even more games on it. On Atari Age it seemed like a lot of the arcade games got taken off the site. (Copyright probably). Your games look great for being Intellivision conversions of other games but I wonder if they would be OK with games being a translation of another game.

It happened. People can think what they want. In my world, this is a positive thing and a smart move for Atari. The whole Amico bullshit is not involved. It is all positive. Atari will totally respect the brand but they might not even do anything with it, that is up to them. I just do not see the negative in this for Intellivision fans. Even for Intellivision the company, at least they got some money to pay there corrupt owners off.

i saw you also did interview with papa pete i know you said you have a problem with the atari controlling making like xbox controller clone and the joystick i have to be honest i have no problem issues with the new modern xbox looking atari vcs 800 controller and the classic joystick at all i love it so much i also love everything about the atari vcs 800 so much it's my favorite underrated unpopular video game hardware i think it's the best great sleeper hit to me i love everything about it i think it's not bad to me at all in my honest unpopular mindset that's just my preference it made me a new atari fan the video game comapnies i'm a fan of is bally astrocade, sega and atari i'm not a fan of intellvision but don't get me wrong i love intellivison and other video game companies nintendo, microsoft and sony equally even tho i'm not a fan of them and i'm happy excited atari acquire intellivison i think this is great news to me because i always want to see old and new intellivison games to come to the new atari vcs 800 i know the majority don't like what atari is doing with atari vcs 800 think it's bad but it's not bad to me it doesn't matter to me if video game hardware has exclusives or don't have no exclusives at all, it doesn't matter to me if video game hareware has alot of games or don't have alot of games and it also doesn't matter to me and also sales don't matter to me i love the atari vcs better than nintendo switch, xbox and playstation that's just my honest unpopular preference it's not a failure to me i don't believe in failure i also think there is no such thing as failure to me i think atari vcs 800 pc/console hybird is the best great hardware of all time to me in my honest unpopular point of view perspecitve mindset that's just me

Most Intellivision games without the intellivision controller is pointless. What I want to know is what happens to the patents and rights to the amico controller and will we see it on the atari?

I doubt it, unless Atari buys that out too. So far it looks like the Amico people will just rebrand and keep going for now!
