It’s funny how this guy does a video discrediting the Strenght Shoe but all his comments are singing the praises of its effectiveness. 😅

I did high jump in school. Before the strength shoes and plyometrics I was jumping 5’8. After strength shoes and plyometrics I topped out at 6’3”. I actually ran a mile with the strength shoes it was a painful but very well rewarding calf burn.

i played high school basketball and i remember laughing at my homeboy who had strength shoes, but then he started dunking, so i had to try them. this was back in 2000. after a summer of training in them, i came back to basketball practice running faster than the whole team and not even trying. i was also dunking with ease and doing trick dunks. i'll never forget my coach and team being blown away by my progress in such a short period

I used them 3 times (mon, wed, Fri) and went from grabbing halfway up the net to grabbing rim with ease. My acceleration and top speed went through the roof also. Strength shoes are the real deal.

Use pieces of 2x4. Attach straps to go around your shoes and maybe glue some tread on the bottom, from some old shoes

I used strength shoes and increased my vertical Big time!!! And as far as putting pressure on your joints, I worked out HARD with these shoes and I’m 41 now and do construction and my joints are fine! Squatting 400 lbs puts way more pressure on your joints than strength shoes!!!

Yes.....most of my golf practice is done without a ball; developing the dance moves that lead to Rythym and Timing that are essential to proper golf swing sequencing..... Just the act of swinging various weighted clubs, the medicus, and the Orange Whip, have transformed my game from High Handicapper to a single digit golfer in less than a year...Of course, I've also worked dilligently on my short game...Especially, lag putting, which I found to be the most important skill in golf... Everyone wants to hit the ball farther.....there is no secret, other than to say that you need the Flexability, Strength, Timing, Rythym, and Knowledge of your own swing characteristics to do so....

Thanks for the great video! Weighted ropes were a regular part of our wrestling team practices at Gettysburg College. It's also proof that you don't need to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to get in shape. You can get these anywhere for like $20.

Hey Jaisyn. Please let folks know that with the 4 pounder they've got to swing the rope by raising their forearms up and down instead of using their wrist. Using the wrists with heavy ropes will quickly result in injuries for some people.

May I suggest that the last drill would be improved if you rested slightly (for 1 second) inside the "box", and when you hit the ground anywhere outside the "box" (forward, reverse, or laterally) you allow yourself no more than 15/100ths of a second on the ground in order to make these truly plyometric. That's how you develop explosive power and speed. If you stay too long in the amortization phase of the SSC, the plyometric advantage dissipates and you're merely jumping. Love these drills, will definitely incorporate these into my training and into others'. Thanks for uploading. Liked and Shared.
