Practically Oliver Queen replaced here the figure and essence of Batman...he is Clarks best buddy, he fell and came back as hero, etc. I loved Smallville, great show until the end...the only thing what I missed was the introduction of Bruce Wayne...don´t know which problems Warner had it, but the portrayl of Green Arrow here in some way laid the pattern to the Arrow series..

Clark’s facial expressions during the kiss made it hilarious to watch. Lois makes a similar facial expression in the end of episode 15 of this same season when Clark all of a sudden puts Lois, sitting, on a table and then kissing her. Basically he initiates the kiss in that moment and the roles are basically reversed from this even down to the facial expressions.

This is an absolute gem of the Smallville episodes; a companion mini-series which I call Metropolis: The Adventures of Superman and Lois. (Season 8 Epidode 10 The Wedding) In this scene Ollie shows exemplary masculinity and emotional maturity in recognizing a former lover needs support. Lois tries to blow him off but Ollie simply ignores and redirects the conversation back to his intent; to be supportive of someone he once cared for. Lois tries to project her lingering feelings for Ollie back on him. But Ollie respectfully and compassionately brings his and Lois's former relationship to genuine resolution by challenging her. Ollie speaks the truth that saying you have moved on from a prior relationship is just window dressing. Supporting an ex in their time of emotional turmoil is the proof. Ollie tells Lana directly he's ready to make their transition from lovers to respectful friends a reality not just a "theory". The look Lois gives Ollie is priceless because by his comment and actions confirms she was involved with a high value / man. Ollie gains something from Lois far more valuable and enduring than memories of a love affair; RESPECT. Ollie's delivery and mature masculine presence is inspiring. If you ever need to give a demonstration on what moving on from a relationship really looks like, this is it.

When he's done he gives clark sloppy seconds while he sneaks off into Marthas room and finds her magic wand in drawer number two, smells it, then sticks it up his own ass and goes back to the wedding with it still in while he dances

This might be Erica's best episode in the whole series!! She rides a roller coaster of emotions. Does she love Clark, is he the Blur and would it matter if he was? The thing I love is she establishes that she loves CLARK whether he is the blur or not!! An acting tour de force!!

I recently watched this entire series on Hulu with my husband. ❤ I enjoy watching all the clips on KZbin. This scene made me cry ... I felt everything Lois was feeling. The music was perfect as she was walking away. I'm kinda glad that Lois was away at the hospital with Jimmy during the Lana episodes in season 8. That would've been torture. Once Lana was gone, season 8 - 10 allowed Clark and Lois to grow together.

I might get hate for saying this but when he mentioned Chloe I felt bad. She loved him the longest IMO and was the closest to him. Sadly Clark could never allow himself to feel anything more for Chloe than just friendship. If Lois and Lana weren’t in the picture Clark and Chloe would have had a chance. There are moments throughout the seasons where Clark looks at her not in friendship. But something more romantic 💘
