Thanks for sharing this stuff. It really helps. Could you do a video on the identity crisis and coming out of that. And also finding your way through the social anxiety that comes with Benzo withdrawal? Thanks man.

They are giving antidepressants to someone who is divorcing or lost a relative. It is criminal. They are medicating normality.

I was able to overcome my anxiety disorder for good with Dr. Claire Weekes' therapy and i have no anxiety what so ever even in withdrawal but i do have those rushes in the morning that are horrible and i feel the chemical anxiety but i can defeat it every time cause the tools i learned work for chemical anxiety as well.

Had severe Benzo belly for nearly 2 years, excruciating pain and swelling, stumbled across a man saying carnivore diet was huge help. Went on the carnivore diet in March 2024 and within a month benzo Belly gone!!!! Still tapering off Clonazepam and have other symptoms but still am on carnivore diet as have had so many health benefits from it and it helps so much with my withdrawal symptoms. Worth a try if nothing else works.

Can I ask what you’ve seen personally as typical healing timelines? I’ve seen and read of 2-3 years as an “average.” Just curious. Also - did you have intense waves toward the end of your healing still? Currently 22 months off and in the worst wave I’ve ever experienced - insane nerve pain, pacing akathisia, major digestive issues, etc. after almost a week of feeling like I was doing much better.

Ive been thinking ive got cancer or something for last few weeks ... stomach has been terrible, awful nausea when eating, awful permanent headaches at back neck, feel sick all the time. Then I thought ... maybe its coz I stopped Diazapam 6 weeks ago ? ... then I looked up Diazapam withdrawal symptoms and its like all my boxes are ticked. When I was on Diazapam I was feeling ok, could run every day 6-7 miles and weight train. Ive not been able to do any exercise since I stopped diazapam due to nausea. Tempted to take it again tonight to stop these symptoms and allow me to train again but im terrified now. Really wish I had told the doc "No Way" when he prescribed them. My upcoming Xmas dinner feast has never been so unappealing!!!🤕

Coming up on 2 years. Feeling slightly better than a year ago. Slow progress but progress nonetheless.

How is this helpful for anyone who was lucky enough to taper? If you are tapering, it’s very common to feel a lot of over stimulation. Obviously, a calm CNS shows healing. Please don’t be discouraged. This is for protracted or those who have jumped and may still be in acute. It takes time and stepping back into life again. Small steps.
