The food is decent and not “out of date”. The place is a basic restaurant with much less overheads and the owners are not into ripping people off, hence reasonable priced food!

The best food in Curry mile, it's different and full of flavour. Went there the other day had muqalqal lamb, egg with cheese fish with rice and Mandi chicken. In all honesty food was 10/10 definitely coming back. Adani tea is a must try.

The best places like this in Australia are called Tradie Cafes and are found around industrial areas - normally owned by Vietnamese or Filipino families. Such good food and sooo cheap. 👍

Never been a huge fan of gammon. Apple pie with ice cream is nice but it's surely American - normally you'd have it with custard.

We wanted to try some of the puddings with ice cream and some with custard. Sadly the choices were pretty limited in the greasy spoons we visited. Will have to try others in future :)

Admittedly the biffet wasn't great, though some of the dishes were really good. Not had a la carte from the restaurant so can't comment, but they seem to have good reviews on TripAdvisor!

Suggest you try Brewers Fayre instead of Toby. Around £10 but drinks and cereals are included in the price. Toby is let down by very limited choice of spreads, not even proper butter, and marmalade and fruit jam in open dishes.

Thanks, I think we have tried Brewers Fayre when we stayed at Premier Inn at some point. They do have more stuff compare to Toby's but we love the Yorkshire puddings at Toby's! And the sausages are very good too :)

Melt it with a lighter or leave it out for 30 minutes (dependent on temperature) for an average room temperature of 21 degrees Celsius!
