I have a TTS MK3 with Stage 1 + by ABT and 400 HP.i don't recommend modifying it further. With that power it does 0 to 100/km in 3.7 seconds. It's more than enough.Above 500 torque the gearbox, clutch and engine may have problems.

Hope the Fam is alright after Storm Eowyn . I also googled the most common problems with the Alfa Mito, and here are the results Uncomfortable suspension Cramped rear seating Cheap interior materials Questionable reliability The Italians definitely know how to do style, but the only problem, its an Alfa :( Driving a car is all about the driving experience, not about how good it looks at your local car garage, sorry mate.

Was this the "creative differences" that push Dave, and his wife over the edge? Did Matt and Ollie get a large freezer box and sleep outside under the hedge, with "surprising" results? Find out next time on Soap!

Actually the 1.4 T-Jet (turbocharged) engine ones are MUCH more reliable. There are multiple horsepower versions (120, 160 and 180) but really the engine is the same exact one, they usually do this so you can pay less taxes in Italy, you can easily ECU remap them and go touch the 200hp mark quite reliably. Also they include slightly better interior, suspensions, brakes and from what I can recall that's quite it. Considering you can get them with barely 100k km (around 62k mi) for 6k EUR that's quite a bargain for a cute little sports car.

As an owner of a 2009 Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4 TB. All I can say that the engine never has issues. My mother bought it in 2012. I purchased it off of her in 2023. It currently has ~195.000KM's on it. This last year I have spend roughly 1500$ in maintenance. Prior years this was not necessary, but some stuff such as a rusted radiator as well as a leaking exhaust made it quite an expensive first year. I also needed to change the timing belt. Other than that it *had* been great. Until as of ~2 months ago I started getting transmission issues with the dreadded M32. Might do a rebuild, might swap it out for an already rebuilt one, or do as my mind tells me and retire the car. Though I have thought of making a "track" car out of it.

Loved this, Dave! Like with Felicity, the emotion you have for the car shines through in the edit. Genuinely a pleasure to watch and a proper feel-good moment to see it goes to an appreciative new owner. The pacing, the angles, the music, absolutely bob on mate. I'm a big believer that driving is about the connection you have with the car, and I always get that vibe through your videos. Looking forward to the next one!

I bought a Mito in 2012, four years latter I bought another one as I found the first one so unreliable, not. I have retired now and drive a Fiat 500 as I only do 4,000 miles a year and don’t need the room of anything bigger. It’s no Alfa but puts a smile on my face as both Alfa’s did. Both back seats were virtually unused, as its post family. I toured France more that once and they never let be down which is more than can be said for the BMW 320 I had once. In a sea of dross and mediocrity out there of Merc’s and BM’s looking like Kia’s now I would pick the Alfa every time.

Hello son, this is a well thought out and informative video to watch. You're very good at this and there's no-one else out there i would rather watch. I think between the pair of you, you and Matt have this car channel thing all sown up. You with interesting view describing what it feels like to drive the cars plus your 17 years of knowledgeable information to advise and help others car valeting. Then there's my nephew who's very good at doing what matt does !!! All be it at a thousand miles per hour.😂 Dad👍🍺

Me and Matt worked so well because we were the complete opposite. Matt smiles when the world is ending and I'm just miserable as soon as I have a car in front of me 😂. I think it will make our collabs extra special as we individually have lots of value to add. If we had a enough funds to produce the content we wanted to produce we could seriously make an impact and I'll always stand by that statement 🙏

Alfa Romeo MiTo is just a copy of a Fiat Grande Punto right down to the last nut and bolt. Fiat builds broken shit boxes. Only poor people and retarded morons buy crap that don't work straight from the factory and just can't be repaired to stay reliable. Opel is far better built quality than Fiat, don't mix those two brands together. Oh thank GOD you got rid of that pile.

First to comment yay, just kidding, ok I will admit, it is a good looking thing, we don't have those cars in my neck of the woods unfortunately, but I think I too will shy away from it, because if the electrical issues, on that topic for me the best small car I have driven today is the Suzuki Swift, it has also parted unfortunately, it was a 1.2 manual gearbox, very economical and quite a good handling little car, it is probably as slow as that Mito let's me honest, but seeing and hearing your description about your Mito made me think of my once upon a time Swift and I loved it. I now own a 2016 Hybrid Honda Fit/Jazz, it is also a cracking great car especially with a lovely sports button that it's got, it feels quicker than the Swift too. Though as a next car I wouldn't mind the new Swift perhaps with a bit more power.
@epiccarshow19 күн бұрын
thanks for the comment. I've worked on a few suzuki swift's. I love the simplicity of them. Bit like my old mazda. I love cars that a basic and small. Missing the Mito already
