Ok lets look at it this way. Sonic has had many "love interests" throughout the games but in my opinion i think amy is the closest sonic will ever get to a girlfriend. I mean with sally probally never coming back in the movies or any other games, she is the closest girl to be a love interest. Plus she has changed a lot since the first time she was introduced as a obsessive hedgehog, and sonic has grown a liking towards her, even SEGA agrees.

I like to think Sonic is just ace. I love the Sonic x Sally ship, but to put an end to the drama and just because it feels right imo, Sonic is probably asexual and just loves on a platonic level.

For Archie comics there is just Sally, because the plot roots for Sally. I wasn't a big fan of the ship and still am not, though, because I kinda think Sally deserves better than Archie/SatAM Sonic imo. Amy for games/X/everything else, because, she kinda always was there. But it's not the same/never going to be the same as with Sally, because their dynamic in canon is just different and we have to take it.

Fun fact about Cosmo, her and Tails's relationship was literally an accident caused by Amy. In one of the episodes, the gang visit a planet or something, and apparently if you follow a specific set of events with another person (swimming in a lake, visiting here and there, etc), you're guaranteed to fall in love. So in flanderized Amy fashion, she builds a Rube Goldberg machine to launch her and Sonic through every single step in quick succession to get him to fall in love with her. Unfortunately, Tails and Cosmo accidentally trigger the trap, and they fall in love instead. Not to say their relationship was bad, however, I quite liked it. It's just a funny accident that caused it to happen. Edit: after watching a summary, the seeds were planted *ba-dum tss* long before, but the trap just confirmed it.

There a lot of people, including myself, that likes Elise and Sonic’s relationship. Sure they had little chemistry but it had so much potential for a future game or movie. The only human-like character Sonic had so much more chemistry with was with Shahra the Genie of the Ring but that should have been with Elise. Also, Sonic might not be a human, but he definitely knows more about being human to have genuine feelings.

Honestly, most of my ship are made of vibe and aestetic only but at the very least they had interacted once (apart from rottmnt!leo and yuichi usagi). I don't realy do crossover. But it looks fun.

There was another character in the comics that had a crush on Sonic and even tried to make moves on Sonic’s, Mina Mongoose. Though it was unrequited love.
