To clarify the Blaze confusion, she did not sacrifice herself at the end of '06. She openly stated that she was sealing herself into ankther dimension as Iblis' vessel. When the events of '06 are reset at the end, Blaze is no longer the vessel of Iblis and has no recollection of the events of '06. Despite this she still exists in a separate dimension now which would make '06 a prequel to Rush. From here in Colors, she would reunite with Silver and they would be familiar with one another which is something they can't seem to explain. The memories of '06 are still there, but are suppressed. In Generations, the events of '06 is still accepted as canon despite the reset. The events still happened in their lives whether it got reset or not. It's still in their minds and still something that happened. When Blaze witnessed Crisis City once again, the suppressed memories were restored and she remembered the events of '06. That is what I believed happened and how it all fits together.

The way I assume 06 works in the timeline (and the way I think makes the most sense personally) is that blaze’s sacrafice didn’t kill her but sent her to the sol dimension, and the only reason she didn’t come back after the death of Solaris is that everything still happened, it’s just that the universe itself had to patch itself back together and wiped everyone’s memory and blaze only remembers cause she was in a different dimension when it happened

Small correction, but Sonic X was not "mostly" an adaptation of the Adventure games. Even the first two seasons were mostly original stories. They devoted six episodes each to adapting SA1 and SA2 (total of 12 episodes), which means less than 1/4 of the first two seasons' 52 episodes were based on the actual games. (I'm not counting the Sonic Battle arc, since that story was basically nothing like the story of the game and they essentially just borrowed the character Emerl for a few episodes to promote the game.) The Chaotix also did show up before season 3, albeit only for one episode, the week before Sonic Heroes came out. This was obviously done to help promote the game.

They performed at sonic boom 2012, one member showed up at sonic boom 2011, and they did a show at Bryant park to promote sonic colors as well. I think one of them sang at TGS to promote sonic colors that year also. As well, I think that Sonic Boom episode about the crazy fan was actually based on a Stephen King book. I forgot the name though. So the character was based on the one in that book. Team Chaotix actually appeared in S2 of Sonic X before the third season just after the SA2 adaptation. The piracy check in sa2 applies to the final story actually, cannon’s core, the final action stage of the game. Jaleel White voiced Sonic’s sister Sonia also! This happens during the Last Story segment, when the player has to get through a level, playing as 5 characters consecutively (Tails, Dr. Eggman, Rouge, Knuckles and Sonic), then beat a boss as Shadow, and then beat the final boss. And it is during Eggman's part of the level when the clipping through the floor happens. But it is important to note that, while Eggman does clip through the floor right after the switch (his part starts in a very tight corridor too), he does not die immediately. Due to the level structure, it is possible to use the mech's hover boost to get to one of the lower parts further on in the level and continue. However, this cuts down a significant portion of the score, thus making getting the A rank quite a challenge.

The sonic boom episode isn't based on Christine chan, its a reference to the movie Misery, where a woman is a big fan of an author and keeps him captive after he gets in a car accident. This is why sonic is stuck in the bed with his entire body wrapped in bandages

The 06 canonicity question is pretty annoying to keep hearing because people tend to pick and choose what games are canon 06 is canon, the events of the game happened, but they were erased and the universe reset itself While it's never explained If I recall correctly, they never actually say where Blaze is from, obviously they don't say she's from the Sol dimension, but they never actually say that she's from the future either There's a couple theories surrounding this but the majority agree that Blaze didn't start in Silver's future, or at least, if she did, the universe resetting itself put her in the sol dimension She was made for Rush first, and apparently during dev, 06 was meant to have more ties to Rush, but time constraints made that difficult People also claim Silver has no origin, but he was reintroduced in Sonic Rivals The idea of Blaze and Silver working well together is partially because characters have the capability to remember the events of 06, but only vaguely, and partially because it's just a neat reference to their teamwork and how similar the two are Crisis City came back in Generations because Generations pulls from all timelines in a tattered state It's a little hard to make sense of it but that's a common theme with this
