First 6 rounds were in fury’s favour. He landed the cleaner shots and missed the least. Last 6 usyk took over with pressure. The standing 8 count is what edged it in his favour. With how one sided the second half was it’s hard to score it any way other than a usyk win imo.

Joey needs to chill. What he is saying isn't correct at all. Fury wasn't comfortable at all, but he had no choice and adapted to the situation. That's why he is a great fighter. But remember, Uysk made that happen. And he'll do that again.

I do think Usyk took rounds off in that fight. Having watched a lot of his fights I’ve picked up on one thing about when he takes “rounds off”. He will either start fast or slow and it seems that he reads when his opponent is picking up the pace and putting in more work and that’s when he chooses to slow down and “take rounds off”. Obviously I don’t think he intends to be hit with big shots but he does seem to slow to allow the opponent to use more energy while he covers up and uses his footwork to get out of the way. Once he feels an opening he then picks the pace back up. It’s identical in almost all of his fights and it’s exactly what I noticed in the first fight with Fury. I think Usyk was always in control of the pace that he wanted to fight (except for those two uppercuts) and if he wanted to I do think the middle rounds could have looked different but he wanted Fury comfortable and possibly tired because that’s what led to him making mistakes

I think all judges should be licensed (assuming they’re not) and held more accountable for their scoring. To the extent that after every fight there should be a debrief where they have to talk through their scoring in front of a video of the whole fight, round for round, with an unbiased and higher official to ensure that the judges are fit to do their job and score accurately. The judge who gave the fight to Fury was an immediate red flag and seemed more reminiscent of Eurovision Song judging.

Fury will smash Uysk to bits in this rematch. He's leaner meaner & isn't going to f@ck about with showboating this time. Just watched his interview & he's can't wait to get in that ring. His exact words were...I'm gonna smash him up that bad that he won't want a third fight. Also Uysk letting on he wasn't hurt...why the cracked rib why the f@cked up eye socket? Tyson isn't interested in points this time he wants a knock out.

A long count helped Fury survive R9. If Fury tries to go to Usyk's body early, he'll just expose his head sooner.

This is the best boxing match up in years. Both their boxing IQs are amazing. Tyson should win with his size and strength, but Usyk is a relentless machine. Just as resilient as Tyson and constantly changing pace, tactics, adapting as he goes. Can Tyson win? Absolutely. Will he win? That is debatable, butnif he does I'll put some respect in his name for the first time in years, as he's been a annoying twat for ages and pissed away so many people's goodwill for him with his 70/30, dodging pish. Last fight was a cracker. This will be too.

When you are 6’9” and 260lbs you don’t develop and employ a back foot style if you like to fight. Fury likes to beat mans up and not to be on the receiving end. That’s why his resume is largely composed of opponents he could easily bully. The exceptions are Wlad, in which he didn’t want to engage and bamboozled his way to a fluke win, and Usyk, which he lost.

For what it's worth i think Fury has gone heavy (21 stone apparently) because he's planning on doing what we all thought he'd do in the first fight; bully usyk. He has huge physical advantages over Usyk he's so much bigger than usyk in almost all ways with a huge reach advantage. The first fight Usyk struggled with that size and it was a hard night for him. That's going to be even more so with second fight because fury is much heavier. However... Usyk struggled to get through Fury's jab but if Fury is planning on closing the distance and getting close he will remove his own reach advantage. Usyk is even more dangerous when you're fighting him on the inside. I still think this fight is a 50-50 toss of a coin; it won't look like the first fight it will be very different but it's still a coin toss because it'll be down to how each man reacts and adjusts in the moment.

If I was fury I would be coming in lighter to do more of rounds 4-7... His feet notably slowed after 7, I think he should look for better conditioning to stay with Uysk down the stretch and use his boxing... Uysk looks solid, I think he's worked on bulking up. He knows he can create angles to get inside and hit Fury, I think he'll be looking at adding extra power and going for the knockout.

i think its about time, that this man, called tyson fury, gets what he deserves. He has been avoiding the good fighters a very long time, now that he has become lazy and cocky he will - and you saw it in the vcomments from him after the match - he will never learn from his mistakes. Because he is a clown and thinks he can talk himself out of this. Nevertheless is USYK a middleweight boxer against this fatso, so there is a huge weight difference and a difference in reach. USYK will habe to improve his fighting again. Tyson thinks he doesnt need to. So who do you think wins?
