Steve, I've worked for dealerships and independents over the years. Warranty work doesn't pay, oil change doesn't pay. Alignment can pay but only if you upsell something. Since your truck is new, no upsell even if it's Warranty because it doesn't pay. If you drop off a car, you're put on the back burner. If you wait, then you are in line. Appointments mean nothing. Since dealers pay techs by flat rate, your issues are not priority since they don't pay. They should be easy jobs so that makes them easy to put off till the end of day once the techs have accrued enough flat rate hours to lose time on your car.

Steve, I have the same issue with the dealerships around me. I have a 21 Silverado with the 3.0l diesel. I have to go to the dealership because the local places don't have the stupid oil it needs. "Oh yeah, we can get you in and out within 30 minutes" is what they've told me the last 3 times when I schedule *A WEEK IN ADVANCE*. 4 hours for an oil change. FOUR FUCKIN HOURS. Every. Single. Time. I can change it in less than that!

For Craig and mookie. One leaving for husky was the start of the problem and Alden is pushing these guys too far. Jett,Hunter,tomac,chase are all proving that being a bit "thicker" allows you to take hits, handle the bike differently and better. Stimulate not annihilate seems to be the ticket the way I've watched over the past couple years. Obviously the riding style has changed too to be more efficient on the bike. But very few do well on that. Steel chassis in the end as well. But I get it. They had to go where the money was too and the support. But you look at all the guys besides Dungy. Nobody lasts very long on those bikes. They get it for one year. They make a change because they have to go towards something for the manufacturer and the people that actually buy the bikes. And then it's over. So you either please your pros or you please your buyer. And even then they're losing people with the air fork
