A sincere question from a naive admirer of this video: there are three liquid bottles on top of the pasta boiler. What’s in those?

Very simple and nice. In your kitchen do you weigh your pasta for consistent portion sizes?
@justinmitchell566011 сағат бұрын
In 10 minutes he managed to torch 1 dish, deliver 4 plates, get kissed by his co-workers in an empty restaurant, while serving frozen pasta, which part is Italian? The presentation sucks. Just throws the pasta on the plate at the 10.10 mark, NFG He's not even clean, food just flies everywhere. I cook cleaner than that at home

Forgive my stupid question, I don't eat seafood....those shells looked like rocks when he put them in the pan! Then I noticed they opened up and were shells. My question is how do you eat them in a bowl of pasta? I think I see stuff in the shells but is the person supposed to pick out whatever it is out of each and every shell? Or do you just eat the whole thing at once, wouldn't it be super crunchy? Again, sorry for the dumb question!

There’s no way you served more than 50 tablespoons of at that speed. That’s not busy, at least not in the states

why are turning the light on after placing the dish?
@DenisInTheKitchenКүн бұрын
Great question! The light is part of a heat lamp system that keeps the dish warm while it's waiting to be served. It ensures the food stays hot and fresh for the guest. It's a small but important detail in professional kitchens!

Cutting raw and cooked food on the same cutting board can lead to cross-contamination.........
@DenisInTheKitchenКүн бұрын
Thank you for your concern! The guanciale isn't raw-it's cured meat, so there's no risk of cross-contamination. I always make sure to handle everything with care in the kitchen. Appreciate your feedback!

Wouldn't you serve original, authentic amatriciana with buccatini?
@DenisInTheKitchenКүн бұрын
Yes, traditionally amatriciana is served with bucatini, but I chose to use rigatoni this time. The ridges on rigatoni help capture the sauce really well, and it still tastes fantastic. In the end, it's all about personal preference!

What happened to black pepper?
@DenisInTheKitchenКүн бұрын
I made a bit of a mistake-there wasn't a mortar and pestle in the kitchen to crush the black peppercorns, so l decided to use an immersion blender instead. Let's just say it wasn't my best idea, as the pepper went flying everywhere! I ended up cutting that part out of the video. Lesson learned!

Merci.
@DenisInTheKitchen23 сағат бұрын
Thank you for your detailed feedback! I appreciate your perspective and will take it into account for future videos. I aim to balance detailed explanations with concise editing, but I understand that 27 minutes might feel a bit long. I'll work on improving the structure and flow of my videos. Thanks again for watching!
