Holy heck, a 59’ cherry Les Paul that has seen so much light that it turned into a gold top! The 60 is no slouch either. Thank you Jimmy Page, Dickey Betts, Duane Allman, Gary Rossington, Pete Townshend, Steve Marriott, Jeff Beck, Peter Frampton, Eric Clapton, Slash, Joe Perry, T.Rex, Peter Green, Gary Moore, Kirk Hammett and so many others for making it financially impossible to own one.

there are musicians who like the ashtray etc..Marcus Miller, Familly Man, Ian martin allison, Laurie (??) from the texas Thai Funk band I forget the name,James Jamerson, I could find many others players who keep one or both!! and I agree that it's classy, but I can't play with them too..

I love mine so much! Just got it about a month ago after wanting one for years. Its so responsive and has a beautiful tone. I think the upper soundhole gives me great feedback to improve my rest stroke, or maybe its the light bracing. I have to remind myself to play on my regular guitar now so I dont loose my feeling for fret spacing. I must investigate these rumors that it's in production again, such a shame it was discontinued

It amazes me how many audiophile KZbin channels out there have shockingly poor sound quality. Seems an oxymoron. Thank heavens that’s not the case here.

I've noticed that when you play one of those 50s productions, the while body liberally resonates when you play a note or chord. The new ones are like bricks in comparison..

Looking at the comments here, I must be the only person that thinks this, but I don’t feel this sounds that good. To me it sounds like there is a blanket over the amp. I have this exact same amp and to me mine sounds just like it does here. I used to think I was doing something wrong because I read so many rave reviews on it. I have owned it since they first came out, long before they made the trademark 30. Mine is in mint condition and still looks brand new. I have always been disappointed with the tones I get out of it. It also seems very noisy when I up the gain. It’s touted as an instant MarshallI tone. I wanted the AC/DC tone but I dont think this achieves it. I think it’s well built and has reverb and is one of the few little amps with an effects loop and headphone jack as well as an xlr. So it’s very well equipped but I just can’t get it to sound great. I’ve even tried using it thru a 2x12 cab. I’ve tried it using single coil pickup guitars, soap bar pickups, humbuckers and active pickups. I just don’t think the amp is for me. I have a Vox VT50 that I put an effects loop kit in so it gives me pretty much the same options and sounds so much better and has the built in attenuator but it’s bigger and heavier. The Trademark 21 is definitely better built though. It’s a shame because I like Tech 21. I love their fly rigs. I have a RK5V2 that sounds great. So I think for me the Trademark 10 is just a miss. I’ve kept it all these years because it is light and small and has great build and features and I was hoping I was just doing something wrong. This video made me arrive at the conclusion that it’s just the way the amp is. I’ve contemplated selling it and grabbing a Yamaha THR 30ii. I like the small desktop wireless amp idea.

He dinged it at least 5 times. Every time i see these vintage guitars, I think some of the wear and tear is due to the dealers - they always have rings on and the guitar tops and necks a bumch of little dings. Put some cloth gloves on, dude!

I finally pulled the trigger on a Tube Zipper after seeing your video! Just uploaded a quick jam with it paired to a Behringer Edge synth and a Dynacord tape delay. The envelope filter is as wild as I hoped, and I’m excited to push it further once I get the hang of it. Can’t wait to try it with my guitar and keyboard setup.

Mike is a humble genius and a world-class luthier!!!! I didn't understand the attraction to MTD basses and always considered the pre-CBS Tobias basses infinitely better(They are AMAZING!!!) and wasn't to keen on the tone of some of the MTD basses I've heard on KZbin and the high price tag. That all changed after I got my first MTD bass, a Kingston Super 5, that is AMAZING!!!!! Even though it's not a USA MTD, the quality, craftsmanship, tones, and playability are on another level. Hopefully, I'll be blessed to afford a USA 635 but if that doesn't happen, I'm shooting for a Kingston AG6!

Mike is a world-class luthier who employs art and science to create stunning works of art that are used to make music!!! For years I scoffed at MTD basses because of their expense. After watching many KZbin videos and recently buying a Kingston Super 5, my first MTD, I understand the quality and craftsmanship that Mike puts into his basses. Even though my Kingston Super 5 is not a USA MTD, it's one of the best basses I've ever played and I can definitely see myself buying another MTD, prayerfully a USA model(🙏🙏🙏) or at least a Kingston AG6!!!
