Tell that to the 4 different tow guys that has had to jump up and down on the car that hit me from behind to pry it loose from my hitch. 4 times, no dents, no buckles, no damage. I still tow my 4000lb camper just fine. A 2000lb car stands no chance to a 6000lb receiver, you would have slid my truck before damaging the tow system. I'm sure this varies depending on the grade of vehicle and tow system in use, I am attached to a solid frame and not sheet metal.

The tow hitch takes a harder hit then this with just regular braking 😂
