Great analysis. I loved your takes. You turned me around on some of my judgments by emphasizing that these outfits were for a red carpet premier. Very good point. I won't go through all of them. Notes I made. -Jonathan Bailey. You point out red shoes, Dorothy, and silver shirt tin man. Both of us bopped this. -Nessy (sp?). I bopped this. Dion pointed out wedding/prom look and flopped it. "I agree with critique." -Cynthia-Ariana Mexico City. I "Bop!"ed Cynthia, "meh"ed Ariana. Dion flopped Ariana. -Cynthia NYC. Me: "meh". Dion: flop. "Absorbing light-Yes!" -Ariana-Cynthia Australia. I flopped Ariana, Dion bopped. I "*heart* geometric" dress Cynthia, Dion also bopped. -Ashley Tocqueville (sp?). Dion points out undone hair. "-Dion is right re hair!- -Haley. Me "Bop!"; Dion Flop. -Bowen Yang London. Me: Bop. Dion: wedding-ish. flop. Me: "She's right flop" -Cynthia-Ariana. I flopped Cynthia in the liquid green; Dion bopped; we both flopped Ariana. -Ariana Family. I bop or flop as soon as Dion shows them, before Dion bops or flops. I thought we were going to do each look one by one. Dion bopped the ensemble. I had more individual bops than flops so I would bop it as a whole, too. -Jeff Goldblum London. I bopped this. Dion bopped it, then in an inset flopped it as outfit for wizard. -Michelle Yo London. Me: "OMG BOP!!!" Dion: "neutral. -I bopped Sophia Bush; Dion flopped. -Black guy green suit. Me: flop. "suit wearing him"; Dion "little bop" -The biggest disagreement Dion and I have is in the next one, two women who Dion had never heard of (so guess if I knew who they were). I flopped with prejudice the woman in the black gown: "graduation gown". Dion gave it a "tiny bop". -Jonathan Bailey. Me: I liked the textured pants and bopped it. Dion flopped it. Great job, Dion!!!!! 👍👍👍

this video was two years ago so im late asf, but as someone who has experienced both alcohol dependence/alcoholism and was smoking 🍃🍃all day every day for half my college career and onward, both are dangerous. moderation is key. weed definitely has adverse side effects. i’ve experienced it first hand and seen it happen to people around me. psychosis, dissociation, lack of motivation for ANYTHING/poor performance in school, anxiety/paranoia that sticks around after it wears off, and can even trigger or progress schizophrenia not to mention exacerbate mental health issues depending on the person (happened to me, my roommate, my plug even!) love your vids, but saying weed is completely harmless was pretty irresponsible. and im saying this as someone who still partakes and enjoys it! to anyone reading this who hasnt smoked, weed is great until its not and youve gotta understand how to partake in a healthy way and know urself and ur brain!!! happy smoking <3

-Cashmere, what a fabric. Hmm. I don't know Chenille. -Statement coats, mentioned last week, are inspired. I will just reiterate briefly what I said then, I don't understand why some consider cold weather a fashion dead zone. Just seems logical that the more fabric you must wear, the greater the possibilities. Statement coats are a great example of that thinking. My favorite is the Miss 60 (?) patchwork, multi-fabric, multi-texture coat. Fabulous. The icy lavender Everlane coat, yes, I bought that as a gift for Dion, but Dion sends us multiple-choice gift ideas so that we don't fuck up. So it was Dion's eye initially, and then my eye, and that coat was a home run. -Scarves are another example, to me, of being innovative as well as practical in winter fashion. They're an accessory but also functional. So you can do with scarves what you do with e.g. jewelry and belts, you can go radical and not look like a freak. -Personal note, Dion's Manchester City scarf. For English soccer followers and for City fans especially, the date is May 13, 2012, City-QPR. In a lifetime of sports fandom I have never experienced the frisson that I did that day. And when we had one Dion, just out of the shower, in previous despair, took a selfie in her bedroom mirror holding up the Man City scarf. -Query: what about vests? In ski country, they are essential and can be very striking. On women they reveal some curves. Seems like there is real fashion potential there. "Bleak" is common adjective for winter. Whatever the temperature where you are, this will be a long, cold, bleak winter in America.

I love this season for fashion! I thought every one of your profiles was tremendous! I don't understand why this would be a hard season for fashion or why a fashionable young woman would get "bored". You have to cover up almost totally so practically every inch of your person is a fashion artist's canvass. I noted and put "!" and/or "Yes" sometimes underlined on statement coats, "need color", fun pants. It was at this point that I wrote "why would this season be hard? get bored?". Vests (!), color red (underlined !), "texturely (sp?) interesting outfits" (!). That was, to me, your most intellectually rarified profile. You profiled 12 looks, a lot! And my last note was about a 13th, "what about leggings--hose?" It just seems to me that you have soo much more to work with in this season because you have to cover up. I LOVED this vid, loved your ideas, love the season. THUMBS UP!

Wow. I was moved. Actually got shivers. The message at the end, "Vote. Nothing is scarier than Trump winning the election." Gen. Next XX's, this is your moment. Very glad to see Dion do that. (Spoiler: He's not going to win.) Okay, with that editorial comment on Dion's editorial out of the way, this was the graphically most beautiful vid Dion has ever done. The cobwebs, the drip lettering--VERY well done. Now she's my kid and I think she's beautiful but I have NEVER seen Dion in one of these vids look as beautiful as she did in this one. When she first appeared on the camera in that mysterious, lacy black masque, she was stunning. When she stood up in that gorgeous, white Victorian dress with the thick, black corset, my jaw dropped. And throughout, makeup? lighting? Dion's face was model-like. The stories Dion narrated are horrifying but she loves Halloween so much and in this one, for the first time, she showed her acting ability. Her narrative poem opening--I think that is her own creation. Note I made: "Dion's funny". Deliberately funny, here. When talking about the hideously flammable flannel-ette and cotton, "What if I caught fire?" (pause) "I'm already hot..." I laughed inside. The whole thing was very impressive. EXTREMELY impressive. Vote Gen. Next XX's. Dion and I already have. (vote the arsenic green :) )

That was such a fun, informative video. I LOVED it! Never heard of concept costumes (I enjoy learning). The Disney-bounding example made it clear. "A minimalist, pared down version of the original". -I didn't know about Lilith! And I've read the Bible :o -The pros of this, to me, outweigh the cons substantially. One I didn't understand: pro: don't have to dress up. But your third con is you have to dress up for Halloween, the more over-the-top the better. -Renting costumes is a terrific idea. I don't know how much they cost but you mention that as a con. DION, THE QUEEN OF HALLOWEEN!🎃

This is such a Great profile on Bob. He was/is my influence when I was in school and wanted to be a designer. He & Sonny & Cher, of course. Your gown is Gorgeous and, yes, it looks like one of Bob's When you said it weighs a ton, I chuckled bc while I was shooting one of his shows at the foot of the RW, one of the models did a turn there and the gown hit me up side my head. Those beads look pretty & femi but they pack a punch. Yes, you def need to do a profile on Cher style through the decades. I have all her looks from each S&CCH season on paper and loads of pics. We also "Cher" similar body type. ( which I didn't notice till high school when I was self conscious, felt not so good about the way I looked of being skinny and muscleless..for a boy) but things changed when I secretly embrace the look of Cher then started hitting the gym and found what works. Oh and I can't do Just One fave look of Cher; that's like her doing a show w/ No wardrobe changes LoL The first one is the piece she wore when she & Son did "Long Train Runnin" on the show > kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn3Vcp2kn6Zjf8ksi=njwWf6zl-H3N1VAw The second would be the 2 piece multicolored floral beaded 2>piece w/diamond cut front top she wore a few occasions, and did a promo shoot w/Sonny and also wore it out w/the full length fox coat with Sonny pulling open to show Cher's slate cut stomach. The third is the Indigenous American 2>piece beaded geometric loincloth gown w/full floor-length feathered headdress and arm vambraces the rear cover of Half Breed Another one the very gorgeous Greek Goddess inspire fluidly beaded leafed top with fluidly swirling top Greek Goddess inspired fluidly (swirling) beaded leafed top that contoured down the sleeves to the wrists on sheer material with a simple asymmetrical black velvet sheath. There are more like the 6 strapped backed copper halter w/the Fro wig and the light up gown

I have to drop a tip for the suede coat! 😄 You can use the scratchy green part of a sponge to, basically, scrub suede. I’d, obviously, recommend trying on a hidden patch of suede first. I did this on a 1960s suede coat thrifted for 3€ at a flea market and it TRANSFORMED it. I basically “shed” the outer layer very lightly. It’s a good solution until you can get it restored. 😊
