Okay, that was interesting. Starting with I sent you an article on this. Don't remember. Dion is of two minds on this: 1) "I don't know how I feel about it aesthetically." (3:34) I had the same thought watching the 3:33 that preceded that. 2) "Maybe I was a bit harsh. It's an aesthetic that is the absence of an aesthetic." (6:20) Imo she wasn't a bit harsh, it is an aesthetic that is the absence of an aesthetic which is why she doesn't know how she feels about this as an aesthetic. I think the English woman who said this is not an aesthetic and "If you go out and buy something to get this look I'm going to lose it" is correct. The way I would put it is, "If you are making a Tik-Tok out of this aesthetic, you've already gotten it wrong." It's FRAZZLED English woman. You're not stopping to make a Tik-Tok if you're frazzled. I think the best analogies are "dog walker" and forgot to pack for Christmas and am putting things on I left at parents' house. Where's the aesthetic in that? Whether it's frazzled English woman or not, the skirt over corduroy pants outfit Dion modeled was GORGEOUS! I think Dion said she wouldn't wear it. WHY? WEAR IT! Thousand 👍 on this video. I don't know how I feel about this non-aesthetic aesthetic. :|
