@vtron8580Ай бұрын
Honestly “the bb getting stuck” issue in mag, I noticed that when you tap the mag just slightly, especially when you change mags aggressively, almost half of the bb is misaligned. I figured that in order to fix it, you need to extend the magnet down just enough, so that during reload, it’s aligned at least 100% at a time( I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s worth the shot trying).
@kirmu409Ай бұрын
Do you have any idea why the DPMS bolt is not locking back after the mag is empty? I still can shoot it "empty". Sometimes it works normal but mostly it wont lock. Same thing when i load the first BB in the chamber and release the charging handle it takes the bolt forward as i load it and it wont lock back. Only if i do it so that i wont release it and just gently "walk" the charging handle back then the bolt locks and the bolt release works like it should be.
@RWMAirgunsmithingАй бұрын
@@kirmu409 I would inspect the bolt catch, it might be broken or slightly warped. If you field strip it and insert an empty mag, you should be able to see the bb follower in the mag mechanism actuate the bolt catch, and you should visually see the bolt catch move into the path of the BCG. Lemme know what you see, also... is it a new airgun? And do you often "train/play" and slap the bolt release button over and over with an empty mag inside?
@kirmu409Ай бұрын
@@RWMAirgunsmithing Its less than 6 months old. When i field strip it and put the mag in the bolt catch mechanism works just fine without any problems. There is a slight spot of wearing at the bolt catch itself about where the mag "pin" (or what i should call it?) settles but nothing that big that it should affect it but somehow it still does because its the only thing i can visibly see. Still when the gun is assembled it wont work as it should be
@RWMAirgunsmithingАй бұрын
@kirmu409 ok that's good , the protruding arm that gets pushed up by the mag is usually what will warp. What about the part that moves into the path of the BCG? This part must positively be in the path off the BCG. Other things to check while field stripped : the bolt catch lever must be free to swivel, if it wedges or binds or doesn't rotate from the spring or gravity you need to clean it or inspect the pin, there is also a little hook/paddle screwed on the bcg itself that meets the bolt catch, make sure it is secure and positioned to intercept the bolt catch, also... check the buffer tube springs, make sure they rest at the bottom of the tube and are not twisted and the dimple on the buffer itselt is positioned at 9-10 or 2-3 o'clock so it doesn't slip over the retaining pin when you fire.
@RWMAirgunsmithingАй бұрын
@kirmu409 other than that... a warmed up or modified for power magazine will cause problems with the bolt catching, or poor co2 pressure if the check valve is jamming or too tight causing restrictions with the 2nd co2 meaning the airgun will act weird because it isn't cycling the co2 properly and you end up with uneven co2 pressures when firing.

I recommend first trying the pell gun oil a few times, also the main valve at the top of the mag can stick , disassemble it , clean it , dab a drop of oil on the moving parts . Reassemble it . Add a drop of pelgun oil to the tip of cartridges. You may need to waste a few cartridges to get the oil through all the check valves , I did all these things and let the magazine sit for one week , now it works perfectly. @@funniman15 hmm interesting, it is possible you actually had gunk or a piece of pierced co2 caplet stuck in there. @@rnichol22 not exactly, the BCG houses the 'hammer' which is released by the sear when the trigger is pulled.
