I REALLY wish that someone would do a shootout with the Festool CXS 18.... I can only find people doing with the 12, and it's kinda frustrating at this point. I don't know if it's so trashy that no one wants it, or they simply already have the TPC for 18v

I tried to watch the whole video, but I couldn't stand the constantly repeating music. I would lose the music. It is really just a distraction in most videos.

I have the non-xlock version exactly the same just your standard 5/8 shank. Have used it heavily. Pros: great power, great feel, nice balance, and inside all the components are swappable for replacement. Cons: lost receipt and warranty was denied/bill for fix only had to pay for return shipping+fix. Was cutting mild 1” tube steel and blade pinched and safety locked the grinder. Never could get it running again. I’m not a fanboy but i love my bosch tools this was a disappointment.

Great video! FYI the stainless steel variant is for marine applications where you would be cranking down on stainless hardware all the time. It’s to prevent galvanic corrosion from contact of dissimilar metals.

I've got the 3 impacta drivers and the two yellow handled chissels. They're all great and very high quality. JIS works just fine in phillips. I use the impacta drivers on powersports carburetor screws, as they're usually a pain to get out without stripping the heads. Those can be used as regular drivers, too.

Really nice bag and tools sir. If you want a great upgrade for your flashlight I use a Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Warm, thing is the best for pockets and tool bags as a work light.

I purchased Milwaukee PACKOUT systems. But I switched back to dewalt toughsystem. Dewalt is made in USA. Milwaukee PACKOUT made in Israel, says so on the label. I won’t be part of genocide! I returned all of it!

Well made and poorly made products come out of every country. It's all about quality control. Only time will tell if SK China stacks up to the quality of SK USA tools.

Hi, I'm a finish carpenter. I have the Metabo. I can nail continuously using 2" x 18g nails. It charges and can keep up. The problem I have is that it's cheap and isn't that reliable. Will this Makita keep up? Thanks

Klein drawers seems to have more reinforcement. Just bought into the pack out system a lot of versatility, however did not purchase the drawers , I’m going to wait hoping Milwaukee designs a reinforced drawer system. It’s a lot of money spent on something that seems a considerable amount of pack-out users complain about.. until then Ridgid especially for the price seems more acceptable drawer system to live with. Especially Home Depot having a big Ridgid Modular sale. So a combination of Packout boxes and Ridgid drawers seems like a good compromise.

I have a snowjoe which I like. Only complaint I have is I can only throw the snow forward so I have to start at each end over the sidewalk and work towards the middle. This seems to have the same issue

Does the 90 degree attachment accept a bit on its own is do you need to put another attachment on it?
@garnerreviews2 ай бұрын
It can take a 1/4” bit on its own. 👍🏻

Great comparison, I actually have both, Gedore also makes very similar and also blue tools. From the start I can tell you I like the knipex ones more, I have some older versions slightly different from the new ones and also heavier. Weight is not a real problem here. Actually this lever action button is not the best when you work outdoor and some debris can go under that lever on the hazet. If that pivot pin is not fully seated you can do some damage to the teeths. The knipex is easier to clean,and that lever doesn't make much difference for me. Also the heat treatment is better on the knipex cobra, more durable teeths on the gripping jaws. Don't get me wrong, hazet makes great tools, sockets, torque wrenches, and special tools for automotive industry. But I mostly choose knipex when it comes to pliers.

I just returned a CXS 12 to get this one. The CXS 12 screams like a Banshee at full power! Plus I prefer the mechanical clutch. I found the electronic clutch on the CXS 12 to be unreliable. Also, I know this does not have an offset head, but I think the right-angle head is small enough to fulfill that need in many situations.

I own rc cars and they get dusty after running them would this work for blowing the dust off when finished?
@garnerreviews3 ай бұрын
This could work. It has limited capacity so it will run out of air quickly but for an RC car it may be just fine. Another option you could consider is the high speed blower/inflator from Makita. They have both a 40v and 18v. May be perfect for a task like that and you could take it with you to the track. 👍🏻

TP6B was my first veto purchase. I really liked the idea of this bag, however there were some issues with it. It tends to tip rather easily, and because there is no flap, the tools just fall out. I work out of a vehicle and we're always driving around back and forth, so the bag is gonna move around no matter what. I ended up going back to a regular ol' tool bag that I can zip up. I gave away my TP6B to my brother in law and he loves it, he works inside so these issues don't bother him. Veto has since come out with the TP-LD which is more-or-less this bag but with a flap cover and a wider base. I'm seriously considering it.

Great question. It is possible to do but it takes a while and really works the compressor. I wouldn’t recommend it as a primary compressor for that.

I am confused which to get, between this and the 9308EVA. Snap-on sells the 9308 only. Wonder why.
@garnerreviews3 ай бұрын
Good question, I am not sure why that is. I would think that you will probably be happy with either. 👍🏻 Just be aware that the 9308 is only tang thru. The Impacta screwdrivers rotate slightly when hit with a hammer.
