U act like its new for samsung to have a headset. I get its a different type than before they had a few vr headsets you must have forgot about. But u see the apple vision pro all of a sudden you think samsung is finally getting in the market when theyve been in it. People are looking for convenience and comfort an everyday wearable like a ring, or a watch or glasses not goggles or a giant vr/ar headset like the apple vision pro but xr headset glasses that are designed with using it daily in mind for hrs at a time.

I bet my money that they would play this shenanigans about incompatibility with older goggles and controllers.

That pricetag is actually normal for the slightly more rugged DW-5600 models, its the metal case with screw back that makes it bit more expensive. The cheaper DW-5600 has plastic case with thin 4 screws back.

A stacked sensor on a phone makes absolutely no sense, it is faster, which you dont need on a small sensor, and its actually worse on dynamic range
