We've lost tour clean streets and alleys ways and now see strewn rubbish and weeds, there are no clean doorsteps and small shops no longer take a pride in their frontage being scrubbed and pristine at the end of each day, standards have definitely slipped in our inner towns. People were put into service at age 14 years - perhaps our society nowadays has become too complacent.

I worked in the Rag trade in factories that employed hundreds of workers. There we're hundreds in factories in Dublin at one time. The atmosphere in the factories around summer and Xmas time's. The singing on the factory floor was brilliant. I miss all that.✌️☘️

Very very sad that his cancer wasn’t caught at this stage. He should have had proper tests to figure out what was wrong. This kind of dramatic weight loss has nothing to do with Flu.

THE WIZARD OF OZ is not the "first live action technicolor movie." It is also not the first live action movie in 3 strip technicolor. The first full length feature in color is BECKY SHARP from 1935. There were 3 strip shorts before then. 2 strip technicolor features were made during the silent era. I think the earliest was THE GULF BETWEEN from around 1917. Only some frames exist.

Critics always rag on Brando. I felt his singing voice was not that far off from the quality of Gene Kelly's. Also, for a non dancer he was fun in the Havana scenes.

Dave saved my life, lenny mclean, roy shaw, john l sulivan, vlad the impaler and his whole army, and every Italian mafia family from the 1920s ganged up on me, Dave stormed in with a baseball bat in one hand, and brass knuckles on the other hand, done em all, whilst simultaneously shagging his ugly black wife, where ever you are Dave I will always love you.
