2 speed automatics from GM, Mopar and ford will all rollstart just like a standard shift up to 1966. Starting in 1967 it ended. Get the car rolling up to about 25 or 30 mph, drop it down into low gear and you motor will fire up just like a standard shift. It's because they had a pump in the tailshaft that would work off of the driveshaft rotation and it pumped pressure into the the clutches and therefore when you dropped it into gear, they clutches would engauge and spin the motor.

Thing about carbs, its consistency changes with altitude and weather. Gotta mess with it a bit. Definitely doesn't mean something is wrong with it. Im sure you've learned that by now. Loving the content.

Good racers but is all staged. Just like ole heavy that he claims to be 42 hundred lbs. Accotto the tracks that actually weigh a car its a 2600 lb professionally built race car. I contacted the shop ,looking for a possible roller to put my engine in because i didnt want to take the time to vuild the body. In spite of all the business the allegedly do i didnt even get a response. I thought better of them than that. I know they are busy but I contact what is supposed to be a licensed shop for racers and hot rodders. No response and its been over a week. Im in Tennessee and street legal is easy here. Im coming out with a nitro big block ford ,all moter other than nitro. 1000 hp under 2200 lbs. Should be done late 2025 because im alone pretty much. Takes a lot of time and a lot of money to go fast especially when you can build engines but dont know much about suspension work and body work. I would like to give a shout out to all the petive talked to at Edelbrock. They were professional, courteous and took all the time i wanted to discuss different options.

@indianaslim497120 күн бұрын
He doesn't know, he just traded for this car recently and this was the first outing. He didn't build the engine. He could give an estimate by doing the math of what it ran and what it weighs but it would be a range, not an exact number.

You finally realized you can’t small tire race so you’ve now fallen as low as 6.0 index? Hahahahh dude hang it up already man you’re embarrassing yourself!

For those that are saying it’s too expensive to run a big block you may have a valid point however how many videos did you see of him putting LS into how many cars or the same car? How much money did he spend there? He could’ve had one bad ass car by now.

My dawg if you would just focus on one car and figure it out you'd be dangerous all cars have a learning curve and you tend to give up or let them go before hand but this is the car to do it with haven't been around in awhile so don't know if it's your car but if it is this the car to get seat time in and learn
