Doesn't the central pin of the umbrella skeleton take away light from the flash? It's just in front of the flash, is it indifferent?

Is this better than the Godox X1T or the X2T Wireless Flash? The Godox X1T and X2T Wireless Flash have fewer control features, right? I was thinking of the X2T Wireless Flash for the hotshoe?

What if it doesn't turn on after updating, but I can flash it again? update: nevermind, there is a different version called "Z version" - Z01 is printed with black on the black plastic next to the USB port. I had to download that firmware and flash it.

v1.4 just bricked my X2T-S. :) I also hated it, HSS did not work. Even without HSS flash was not triggered in 15% of the cases. The studio lighting in Godox is just overheaing. Godox stuffs for sale for cheap, juts ping me.

@@tihiandrew I received today this softbox and I realised immediatately that I have to send it back. I took the decision in 20 seconds seeing this atrocity system.Tomorrow I will replace it with a Magmod 42 softbox that needs exactly 2 seconds to assembly it.Case close.

very helpfull, by the way that "small snoot" as you call it is also used as a flash tube protector, when storing the flash, as the other "reflectors" are too bulky to store them on the flash in a camera bag.

I like the 18.5 inch softbox for outdoor shots because it doesn't blow away in a stiff breeze as much as a larger model. I don't shoot with an assistant and the size of this softbox is a nice compromise between soft light and portability...
