Ich kann den Ausführungen nur beipflichten. Ich habe das Rack seit ein paar Tagen. Ich konnte es zunächst nicht glauben, um wie viel ruhiger das Klangbild ist, und wie tiefer der Raum aufgefächert wird. Bisher hatte ich bereits eine breite Bühne, aber die Tiefenstaffelung und die Ortbarkeit von Stimmen und Instrumenten haben noch einmal kräftig zugenommen. Ergebnis: Man wird viel tiefer in die Musik hineingezogen. Ein must have für highendige Anlagen, auch wenn der Preis zugegebenermaßen zunächst etwas heftig zu sein scheint. Aber mal ehrlich: Wie oft investieren in Tuningmaßnahmen oder angeblich noch bessere Kabel. Der Klanggewinn ist aus meiner persönlichen Erfahrung nichts im Vergleich zum X Reference. Noch ein Hinweis an die ewigen Nörgler und Kritiker: Lasst doch einfach die Finger von diesem aus eurer Sicht unsinnigen Zubehör der esoterischen Ecke und werdet mit eurer offensichtlich doch schon super klingenden Anlage einfach glücklich, ohne ständig andere für doof verkaufen zu wollen.

Mikes tone class 1:1 After a tip of our tone-goerroe mike i replaced all my rubber feet underneath my NorStone spider rack. I will be doing this in two steps first under each shelf 4 wooden spikes with small bronze tips. They came with wooden pucks but i put them upside down with tip up straight into the shelf. Bit stupid to put another piece of wood in between. Also on one shelf i have my aurender N10 streamer on isoacoustic pucks because of the harddisks (i thought). Second step when they arrive and need some work to get them fitted are to remove the delrin/pom-c kind of discs between the spiderracks. But first the replacement of 28 rubbers. Grrrrrrrr why not sooner. Immidiatly tones are looser meaning sound seems to have more depth and reverb what gives the sound a more relaxed and more detailed image. Everything seems higher but is not. Staging is again much better looking through the musik and picking a single instrument or voice is reaching again a bit more to realism. To my suprise the bass is more defined in would guess otherwise but it isn’t. Recording booth or rooms are much better kind of naturally identified listening without focussing on these details. Also louder volumes are better and have less pressure. And knowing i have uncountable tweaks and upgrades last two years on my gear. But due to these ever better upgrades it seems each time these kind of tweaks have much more effect than in the beginning of my quest to ultimate pleasure from my sound gear because in the end its nothing more than that for me. Ow and not to forget the ever said remark… speakers are disappearing again a step more. Sara bareilles voice has reach another level of breathlessness when listening to her ‘Once upon another time’ is my new favorite due to the very difficult tones around 3min most sets cannot reveal the combination of tones of her voice and organ that is rotating. Frision is bizar on 4:30. Oder gansehaut in german. Another piece that gives and gives is autumn from atzko kohashi the overtones from the piano have reached again great heights the rasps emphasis is improved greatly and the individual snares and drum are mental the body of each intrument is much more truthfull than with the rubbers underneith and the bass definition seems faster in the aftertones and by this the realness of the instrument is improved immensely. This complete tweak will cost no more than 50,- ordered from aliexpress. Well to be continued when the wooden discs of 33mm are in. Fase two a week later The removal of the plastic couplers between each rack. In the aluminium cups there are plastic little cups glued in and on these the aluminium spike of the next layer is rested on. I changed these for palissander wooden cups, i cleaned each hole and removed glue remainings, in total i replaced 24 plastic cups including the alimunium pads that i used on the floor as the last one. I had to disassemble my whole rack, big clean also and got everything straight again. Findings: well some confusion in the first 30min it sounded similar but confusing the tones and harmonics were there but not in harmony, all equipment was also cold etc so no worries. Next day another listen and to my surprise the tones and harmonics that were there due to all the spikes underneath the boards were kind of the same nothing more or less so it seems buttt to my surprise it sounds more coherent for example a drum solo of katche the seperate drums seem to have more focus and position same with voices same reverb but a more focussed natural and musical appearance. I now from previous experiment this will minimal need another week to settle because all has been removed. But again a gentle improvement. Next are another set of wooden spikes with bronze tips underway to place underneath the pink faun d-power amps and farad s10 powersupplies for the dave dac. These already have tuned wooden combo feet but i want to hear what upside down tips do with the sound.

Sie hatten doch mal ein FE Pagode Rack? Wie ist der Unterschied zum X-Reference ist es wirklich noch besser? Liebe Grüße...

Pagode hatte ich nie, nur meine eigene Kreation Moonrack aus Mondholz, ich behaupte aber mal, das x Reference ist schwer zu schlagen.. cheers Mike

Nach dem Kabelklang klingen jetzt auch die Racks. Ist das ein Instrument? Dachte man hört die Musik aus dem Lautsprecher. Ich verstehe es echt nicht. Egal wieviel das Teil kostet, Rein vom Design - gefällt mir. Seid doch einfach eherlich und nehmt einfach das Geld für die Verarbeitung und Finish und lasst die Esoterik weg. Die Ehrlichkeit wird dann sicher auch belohnt... Instrue klingen durch das Rack anders?

Hi Herr Kenobi mit Lizenz zum flöten, sorry, aber du hast jede Gelegenheit dir ein eigenes Bild zu machen. Verstanden hast du allerdings nicht, dass gute Kabel oder Racks nicht klingen, sondern sie sorgen dafür, dass das Signal und/oder das Gerät in die Lage versetzt werden unbeeinträchtigt zu arbeiten.. Wenn du nur nach Design gehst, wird dein Hifi Weg nicht sehr erfolgreich sein. Aber bitte mach auch eines nicht, Musikenthusiasten und Entwicklern die Fähigkeit abzusprechen, zwischen Esoterik und tätsächlichem Mehrwert zu unterscheiden. However, you don't understand that good cables or racks don't sound, but rather they ensure that the signal and/or the device are able to work unimpaired. If you only go by design, your hi-fi path won't be very good be successful. But please don't deny music enthusiasts and developers the ability to distinguish between esotericism and actual added value. Cheers Mike

Nennt sich Mikrofonie und ist wissenschaftlich schon vor Jahrzehnten belegt, einfach mal googeln. Vibrationen und Elektromagnetische Einflüsse haben dabei messbaren Einfluss auf Komponenten/Kabel.

Dann bitte mal einfach messen wie sich das WIRKLICh bei der gegebenen Hardware auswirkt. Bei Plattenspieler und Röhrenverstärker macht das Sinn hier ein wenig zu entkoppeln. Bei Kabeln ist der Effekt so extrem gering, das bei gut verarbeiteten Kabeln da wohl kein Effekt zu messen geschweige zu hören sein wird. Aber denke wenn man so viel Geld für ein Rack ausgeben möchte - soll man es einfach tun weil es einem gefällt. @@borisbobowski628
