The "you are not my son" line has always bugged me with how the fandom interprets it. It's near-universally seen as Sunny's dad disowning Sunny, but you could just as easily read it as Sunny's dad seeing Omori and saying to him, fearfully, "stay away, you are not my son", which makes sense, as Omori is quite literally not his son.

29:40 Something interesting to note!! This would also change Kel's gender, and possibly Mari's as well, as well as that of some unused characters. On the image of the beta sprites shown at 29:52, you can tell that Kel's hairstyle changed into a longer, more feminine (at least, as feminine as pixel sprites get) one. The only reason why she seems like normal male Kel is because her outfit doesn't change. You didn't show the lower half, but if the character down in the bottom right is Mari (which I assume they are, but I could very well be wrong), you can see there's a male and female version. Same goes for the three (mostly) unused characters also featured in the bottom half.

I think one thing that could have been in layer 5 or 6 is the 2 real world game overs you can get in the game, those being: 1) Not calming down within 10 turns as Sunny in your fight against the phobia of heights - also deals 143 damage to you on kill. 2) Not attacking Aubrey on your first fight against her on three days left.

Addition: This probably isn't on purpose, but White Space sounds quite similar to a major key version of I AM NOT A MORON from Portal 2, and the melody heard in the middle of Sweet Paralysis is literally just the vanilla song. If this was on purpose, it was pretty clever, since Sunny and Wheatley have extremely similar character traits - intense trauma and regret after doing something terrible and surpressing traumatic memories (Sunny's being the truth and Wheatley's being severe mental abuse by the scientists because of his purpose, which wasn't even accurate as he actually wasn't a moron, he just showed symptoms of ADHD), just to name a few.
