Hey buddy I had a similar problem where the brake fluid was old and had accumulated moisture inside the brake fluid and as the brake heated up then the brake fluid would expand because there was water inside the brake fluid so I just went ahead and bled The brakes replace the old fluid withnew fluid and that solved the problem.

I coulda told you it’s been messed with. A 1980 bike wouldn’t have a kickstart, the engine also has classic kawasaki logos and that bike would have updated 79+ logos. Good job persevering on it, i’ve had similar problems with my 79 which is also swapped.

SO glad there's a MUTE button. Nothing worse than having to listen to retarded "music" to ruin things. Nice thing is that some day you'll grow up and not want to do these dumb things. Silence exists for a reason. Blaster is yuk. Use Knock-R-Loose instead.

I'm thinking in buying a CFMOTO 450NK in black. But im afraid the paint is too fragile and would show swirls in just a few weeks. How many years/months would you say black paint stays prestine? Also, what would you recommend me? Black, White or Blue?
@ColtonsGarage
@ColtonsGarage 2 ай бұрын
I'd say it'd really depends on how you like to maintain your vehicles. Black will show all dirt and swirls more than any other color and will be the highest maintenance. White is the easiest color to maintain. It doesn't show dirt or swirls. Blue is a fairly easy color to maintain as well. My recommendation would be to watch some KZbin videos on proper washing techniques. Pan the organizer or AmmoNYC would be some good youtube resources to watch. By utilizing proper washing techniques, you will minimize your chances or marring and swirls. Personally, I wouldn't own a black vehicle, but a motorcycle doesn't see the same road grime and dirt that a full size vehicle does. So, it's not as big of a deal as you may think. Learn some proper washing techniques regardless and pick whatever color you like most without worry.

Hey so I actually changed the alternator cause it wasn’t charging my battery, charged my battery and changed the starter and no start no crank, realized it was the neutral safety switch, started it in neutral and then turned it off and ever since then (an hr) it’s started in park. But I’m concerned that it’ll cause issues if I don’t fix it, or I’ll be back to starting it in reverse again so my question is is this a permanent fix and will it cause any issues if you do it right? Like any transmission or starter issues at all

I purchased a 2003 Yamaha v star 1100. I’m having a hard time with right now I really don’t know what else to check. Carbs are cleaned, new Petcock , new voltage regulator, and new battery. Bike ran good for 1 hour after replacing everything. Then all of sudden I get a backfire and the bike stalled. Now it’s just turns over and won’t start. Any idea what I could do? This my first bike and I haven’t been able to ride but that one time since I got it

The next time you do a video like this please show where and what we would need to remove. I mean this has helped me dramatically with understanding what's going on but you kind of skip some of these parts where yeah you don't want it to be like a 3-hour long video I fully understand that. But giving us a link to another video I wouldn't mind watching entirely where and what I have to remove.

I have a question good sir: Why do the blend doors have the foam covered holes in the first place? If you're able to cover them with solid tape, what is the thinking behind the foam? Also, Thank you for this video. I'm currently diagnosing my A/C Problems and i'm about to work on the actuator to the right in the glove box.

The design was to allow a small amount of air to still pass through to prevent any whistling sounds that may disturb the driver. I can see the thought process, but even after fully taping the doors, I don't experience it. I suppose in theory, across millions of cars it was an issue, and they had a reason for it. This plagues most older VWs, Audis, and even Porsche uses the same design.

Crazy stupid amount of extra work for a simple yet COMMON FAILING Harness, Why not design the plug nearer the end point?? Germen engineers should be chained to these cars and made to do the work bent over in the cold or hot sun in the driveway.. Why not just parallel the loom, and tape the new one on as well. Why strip it all , risking nicking and damaging other wiring.. ANother stupid idea by VW engineers. Almost as stupid as the old style lug nuts/Bolts that are almost impossible to line up in the dark by the side of the road... in the rain..

quick update for anyone following these comments: while this bypass definitely works, it also makes the check engine light come on. and this only matters when you have to get an emissions test. state regulators will not pass a vehicle with a check engine light on. so eventually, you'll still have to replace the NS switch.
