Earned a new sub simply by working on the Kota in the cold. Just a pro procrastinator here, trying to wait the freezing temps out so them knuckle busting moments (when you dont have the ratcheting wrenches) are more enjoyable. lol

Be careful there was Technical service bulletin from Dodge for caliper pinhole stripping out happened to me how to get knuckles from the junkyard

Hey buddy I had a similar problem where the brake fluid was old and had accumulated moisture inside the brake fluid and as the brake heated up then the brake fluid would expand because there was water inside the brake fluid so I just went ahead and bled The brakes replace the old fluid withnew fluid and that solved the problem.

I got a 2000 dodge Dakota break light solid on dash on was flashing now on steady

I replaced everything, did the bleeding...adjusted the brake horse shoes and the brake pedal still loose 😒

You can bleed it for the first time in the truck it's easier than using a Vice

Problem. 08 dakota 4x4. 2 wheel ABS. Lose coontrol on snow cause rear brakes wontt sttop pushing when trying to stop. No ABS warning light . 2 chrysler dealers cant find the problem

They won't stop pushing as in the rear brakes are still engaging or are engaging too hard and locking up the wheels?
